Santa Cristina Gela - The activity includes a complete wine tour at the Tenuta di Pianetto in the North-West of Sicily in the province of Palermo. The visit begins with the discovery of the vineyards and the cellar, offering a tour that illustrates the production process from the care of each bunch to the packaging of the bottle ready to be tasted.

The visit ends with a tasting that compares the slopes of Etna and those of Piana degli Albanesi, in the province of Palermo. The tasting includes the tasting of 4 wines between the Viafrancia Line and the Etna Line.

The tasting of 4 wines that have become iconic, 100% expression of the values on which the company was founded by Count Paolo Marzotto in 1997. Wines that represent the winemaking excellence of the places where Baglio di Pianetto has chosen to produce respecting the vocation of the different terroirs: Palermo, Noto, Etna.

Fantastic wine tasting in the mountains - Fantastic! Lovely sommelier who offered both himself and very good wine. Great experience from start to finish. Taxi picked up outside the door of the hotel and waited until we were going back. Remember not to come hungry.

Excellent Experience - My wife and I had a terrific time visiting the winery. The trip there started the whole experience well. Francesco was an excellent driver and shared his knowledge of the region during the journey. On arrival we were met by Alessandro who made us very welcome. His professional and knowledge were exceptional and the tour of this unique winery was fascinating. It was notable that every member of staff we encountered greeted us politely and cheerily. The wine tasting itself was of course the highlight. These were exceptional wines and we left clutching some bottles of our favourites thar we bought. A very memorable event and strongly recommended trip.

Amazing wine excursion - We had such a great time at the Baglio di Pianetoo winery. The winery was perfect with such a great selection of wines. Our driver was on time, helpful, and so kind to us. We will definitely use Viator again. Thank you.

Visit thoroughly recommended. - Whilst we visited out of season and the vineyard operations were very quiet, the tour was concise and very informative. The wine tasting itself was excellent and expertly led by our guide. I would thoroughly recommend visiting this high quality, modern, yet charming vineyard.
