Additional Information

When visiting Armenia, it is essential to visit the well-known lake Sevan, which is one of the nation’s leading attractions. Approximately one hour’s drive from Yerevan, the capital city of Armenia, you’ll find Sevan, perched at an altitude of 1900m and enveloped by a prodigious range of mountains. Noratus village has the largest collection of Armenian Khachkars. It was legendary that Hayk, the forefather of all Armenians, instructed his people to embellish each stone in Armenia, leading to the presence of nearly 3000 decorated stones, each narrating different tales from various eras. Located in the Aragatsotn region, amidst forests and mountains, on a small elevated section of land, 2080 m above sea level, bisected by the Arpa river gorge, is Jermuk. Jermuk is renowned for its therapeutic water, used for centuries as a secure remedy for several ailments.

Great Tour - I booked a tour with Yerani Tours going to the beautiful town of Jermuk. The tour was very interesting and the ride was comfortable. I can’t say enough about the guide, Hasmik. She was fun, energetic, and very knowledgeable. She impressed me a lot. I already miss listening to her tour. Also, our driver, Vahan, expertly navigated some roads which I never could have driven on. I highly recommend Yerani Tour if you are visiting Armenia.

Small group tours are the best - The tour was very complete! There were so many "little surprises" along the journey and that's what I liked the most! Our tour guide, Anastasia was very cheerful and lively! I loved the fact that she let us decide how much time we wanted to stay in a certain place because not all tours allow you to manage your time when you're in a group! But we were a small one, so it was really easy to have more freedom! While Sargis, our driver, sometimes had to drive in dirt roads, but he handled it very well! I recommend this tour!! :))

Great local guide & good itinerary! - Great trip with very knowledgeable local guide Gayane and driver Lyvova. We got plenty of useful informations about Armenia, it’s culture and people. Itinerary was very good, mix of historical sites and beautiful nature. We even did another tour to Tatev monastery that was good as well. We recommend Yerani tours for exploring Armenia!

One of the best one-day group trips I've ever been - This was just amazing trip with the passionate guide Armen, who literally washed us with the history/information about places we visited and Armenia in general. Unbelievably comfortable trip where we saw much more that was declared in the description of the tour. Brilliant organization and the best memories. Definitely suggest this trip/guide/company.

a lovely day out - The tour I went on included Lake Sevan, a caranvanserai and the sights of Jermuk (waterfalls and town) and then a winery visit. All the spots were beautiful and I'm glad I went. Amount of time at each spot was good and I enjoyed the sites. I'm not a big group tour person but the size of this one was manageable. Honestly, I took the tour since it was the last day of my vacation and I wanted something easy after a busy two weeks. I booked last minute but you're going with others, book ahead. Meeting location was central and handy. FYI that almost the entire tour group spoke Russian so if you only speak English, it might feel odd. The guide spoke well in both languages which I appreciated. She was nice and happy to answer questions. The vegetarian options for lunch were not great, so I skipped that. Instead I sat on the lawn of the lunch spot and that was fine. If you're going to do that, bring food since there is nothing near the lunch stop.
