Excellent, would highly recommend - More than just a trip to see cemeteries., it's also an important world war one history lesson.. Roger our guide was friendly and exceptionally knowledgeable about his subject, even being a published author. Between stops he filled us in on the background of what happened at each one and what it symbolises today. For me it was personal as the tour also included Langemarck where a relative lost his life . The german cemetery there, whilst so very different to the commonwealth ones, is still a fitting and serene resting place for those men who also lost their lives answering their country's call. I would definitely recommend this tour if you want an in depth insight into the true horrors of the war.

The backbone of our Ypres experience. - This is the tour to go on. we were collected from our campsite and immediately, Roger sets the scene and gives context to the thoughts and opinions of the day. Totally respectful throughout, we visited the key sites. Roger explains what lead up to the battles, and perhaps more importantly, what has happened since and how the cemeteries were designed and developed after the war. Highly recommended, this tour formed a major part of our Ypres experience.

Superb - Roger is the most fascinating tour guide with a passion for all things Ypres, battlefields and cemeteries. Small group of 6 in a small can was great and the tour was well paced. He is a great researcher and has written books on the topic. Well worth the half-day to hear some of the best commentary of any tour - for those who don’t have intimate knowledge and want an overview. Well done, thanks Roger

Great Introduction - Roger was a knowledgeable and informative guide who did a good job of getting us around some major sites in good time. I used the tour as an introduction to a solo cycling trip the next day, and it was perfect for that.
