2 day yurt camp from Bukhara - What an amazing experience, so many great memories! The lake swimming was a much needed break from the sun thanks to Ikrom for getting us there twice! He was such a lovely tour guide, super friendly. Would highly recommend to anyone considering this trip.

Wonderful excursion into the rural seclusion and impressive landscape of the Nuratau Mountains - As a family with 6 adult children, we booked the trip to the mountains with Nuratau Travel and everything went wonderfully. During the planning phase, Sherzod gave us individual and flexible advice. All transfers were punctual and comfortable. The accommodations were beautiful and very authentic. Our guides Sardor and Alibek were very personable, committed and competent - we had a great hike and learned a lot about life in this region of Uzbekistan.

Wonderful break from city sightseeing tours - I really enjoyed the trip to Nuratau mountains. The transfers from Buchara to the camp and from the camp to Samarkand were very smooth and the stops along the way to the camp made the long drive more bearable. The facilities at the camp are very new and clean. Food was tasty and copious and the staff was very nice too. Unfortunately, it rained and stormed a lot during the first night and the electricity got cut for almost a day but this is of course not in the hands of the company. Although we had to cut the long hike on the second day short as we were almost blown off the mountain, we still made the best of it and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings. The only criticism I would have is that our guide on the second day (Ihtiyor) didn't really act as a guide: he didn't introduce himself/briefed us at the beginning of the tour and always walked way ahead, so we had to tell him to stop and wait for the last ones in the group... On the contrary, Sardor, our guide on the third day, was super nice, told us about the surroundings and also took us to the village school to meet the kids, which we very much enjoyed.

Say yes to the yurt! - The tour was a very nice desert break between visiting the beautiful cities of Samarkand and Bukhara. My guide was ikram and he was excellent. Took care of everything I needed and explained only as much as I wanted to hear, haha. Even though we had rainy weather on the first day, he was able to make sure that I still saw everything the next day. Was fun to spend the night in a yurt and then hike around the desert in the morning and also ride a camel! Meals were very good, particularly enjoyed lunch on the first day in a charming home courtyard setting. Company was responsive and helpful in emails before the trip. Would definitely recommend.

Perfect tour! We loved it. - We did an individual 3-day-tour based on our wishes and Nuratau Travel recommendations, including Sayyod Yurt Camp, Ulugbek guesthouse in Uhum, Yahshigul guesthouse in Asraf and hikes around and between these. Everything was perfectly planned and taken care of. The contact to the agency was easy. On site our guides Sardor and Alibek were extremely friendly and very competent. The guesthouses were perfect and their owners so friendly and lovely. We loved the trip in every details and can recommend it totally.

Loved our stay. Go go go! - Our stay in the yurts was fantastic. The staff were friendly, spoke fantastic English and looked after us very well. The surrounding scenery is stunning and Sari took us on a beautiful hike. There’s a pool (very cold) and wifi. Highly recommend!!!

Great Tours, terrific customer ethos - Had an excellent stay in Sayyod Yurt camp and Uleg Bek’s homestay in Uhum village. I have written an extensive review of the yurt camp separately. Suffice to say this will likely be the highlight of our two weeks in Uzbekistan. The company itself are very easy to deal with, are very responsive and so far have delivered on all their promises and our expectations. I really like that they reinvest money into the local economy and many of their employees live in the area where the tours take place. Tours are great value by UK standards and would recommend to others

Recommend it! - I actually did a 2 nights in a yurt in the Nurata mountains with 1 day of a lovely 7 hours hike and the other went to see the Aydar lake and some remains of the fortress of Alexander the Great. I would definitely recommend this tour because not only it was lovely to see also the beautiful nature of Uzbekistan, stay in a yurt, enjoy peace and quiet. But also because you can get overwhelmed by the sightseeing from 1 place to the other and tired without the time to process what you see. So its a perfect break between wonderful Bukhara to beautiful Samarkand. I also appreciated the gr3ar professionals i spoke to via WhatsApp to join the trip. Always available and kind. Also the kindness of everyone from the driver to the yurt camp employees.
