- Zaanse Schans - Discover the great Dutch Windmills and make some nice pictures of it. There are 7 windmills left at the Zaanse Schans and a few are open to visit. You can visit the paint windmill (that is where Rembrandt the great Dutch artist purchased his paint), a saw mill, a spice mill and many more. Admission to the windmill park and parking costs are included in this tour. - Zaanse Schans - Learn more about the Dutch wooden shoe making and see a demonstration how they make the Dutch clogs now. There is a possibility to buy the wooden shoes, the clogs and other souvenirs in the wooden shoe factory as well. - Molen De Kat - See the special paint mill from inside. This is the last working windmill on earth who can produce paint. Rembrandt the great Dutch artist purchased his paint at this windmill. - Jacobs Hoeve Cheese Farm by Henri Willig - See a real Dutch farm with cows and baby cows and they will explain to you how we make the Gouda cheese. There is an possibility to tuch the baby cows as well. You will also taste the best Dutch cheese (more then 30 types) and there is a possibility to buy the cheese. - Volendam - Explore the nice and famous Dutch fishing village Volendam. You can have a nice lunch in one of the best fish restaurants in town, purchase very nice Dutch waffles or stroll over the famous dijk and see the nice harbor of Volendam.

Enjoy a half-day sightseeing tour to the windmills, the countryside, a local cheese and clogs factory, and Volendam. You will visit a unique Dutch park called the Zaanse Schans, not far from Amsterdam. Here, you will find some of the most special windmills in The Netherlands, such as the paint windmill, the sawmill, the spices mill, and the peanut oil mill.
Next, you will see how original Dutch clogs are made, with an opportunity to buy clogs/wooden shoes and souvenirs.
The second stop will be at the Henri Willig farm, where you will learn how they care for their cows, see how they milk them, and even touch the baby cows. Afterward, you can taste more than 30 flavors of delicious Dutch cheese for free!
Finally, you will visit Volendam, where you can have lunch at one of the best fish restaurants in town, buy some delightful Dutch waffles, or enjoy the charming harbor of Volendam.
