Embark on a half-day excursion to the windmills, Irene Hoeve known for its wooden shoe production, and Volendam. You will explore a unique Dutch destination called the Zaanse Schans, home to some of the most distinctive windmills in The Netherlands. Here, you have the chance to visit the planet’s last operational windmill capable of producing paint, a windmill where the esteemed Dutch artist Rembrandt procured his paint. Your driver will handle the purchase of a ticket for a windmill you prefer to explore. Following this, you will witness the traditional method of handmaking clogs and get to sample delicious Dutch cheese. Finally, the trip leads to Volendam, where you can treat yourself to delectable waffles or enjoy a pleasing lunch at one of the top fish eateries, if time allows.

5 star service with Sunny - Got a 5 star service! My experience was spectacular from beginning to end. Sunny was very courteous and professional all along the tour. He shared his knowledge on history related to the destinations and some side notes on the people and the culture in Netherlands. He had an answer for all my curious inquiries and made sure that I didn’t miss any presentation or film where I could find more information on the places we visited. I’m very pleased with my selection and feel very lucky that I got to tour with Sunny!

Countryside trip in Netherlands - We really enjoyed the variety of the trip. The stop at organic Jersey cow farm of Henri Willig. Lots of cheese tasting. Enjoyed Zaanse Schans and went into the paint windmill. Enjoyed walk and lunch at Volendam. Trip was well paced and our guide, Gavin, was great.

A job truly done with passion - Congratulations to Fabio, Giada and Alessandro who made us discover Holland in a different way. In fact, they were able to describe the country they love, not only by filling you with historical dates, but above all by telling you about the daily life of the Dutch, what and how they eat, how and why they live in such small houses, the working hours, the cost of tax car insurance, bike insurance... all very useful information to learn more about the country you are visiting. An entire day with them flew by thanks also to their kindness and smile.

Charming - We enjoyed particularly the cow farm to see the beautiful cows and taste the cheese. We had had a delightful lunch in Volendam . Our driver was courteous kind and patient as I was traveling with mobility challenged elderly parents

Clogging our way to the windmills! Cheesy, no? - Learning about the windmills, the clogs and the source of the milk in the cheese. Our driver, Gavin was polite and the Mercedes was clean. Gavin was super nice. He returned a shopping bag we left in the car.

Windmlls, Clogs, Cheese and Dyke visit - On time pickup by Gaven. Very safe driver. Each stop on this tour was explained in advance. Demonstration of wooden clog production was extremely well do, as was the visit to the cheese farm including a lesson in organic cheese production and sample tasting. Paint Windmill visit was also unique.

Enjoyable private tour! - We stayed at the Hilton Amsterdam Schiphol Airport which was originally not on the pick up list, but the tour company was kind enough to make an exception by picking us up there. We had a wonderful private tour with our driver, Julio. I am glad we chose the morning trip (9:00 am) as the places we visited were not crowded yet.

Not the best - Estan was like an Uber driver. He had his EarPods in while driving us. He took us exactly what the tour said. No conversation and no telling us what was around.

not pleased with the experience - our tour guide was merely a driver taking us from place to place, couldn't quite tell us much. not informative nor attentive. we left the cheese factory, went back to look for him and found him having tea with his acquiantances
