Zaanse Schans - At Zaanse Schans, the natural windmill village, you would first have a private guided Dutch cheese factory tour, to know how to make Gouda cheese in the traditional way. You could taste more than 26 different flavors of cheese. After that, you will visit a Dutch wooden shoes factory, over here you would watch a live demonstration of making wooden shoes by a traditional clog maker. After that you would have a private Royal Amsterdam Diamond tour, to know the history of diamond, and enjoy the ‘Royal Lady’ diamond with 268 facets. Of course you would have your own free time to get close to the windmills and take a lot of photos.

This day trip to Zaanse Schans and Giethoorn offers free hotel pick-up service in Amsterdam. This unique tour has maximum 8 persons* per group, so we can have full focus on each individual traveller. A luxury and comforable mini van (Mecedes brand) will wait for you in front of your hotel. A bottled water will be provided to each traveller. Power bank, umbrella are provided and free to use during whole trip.

In the morning, you would visit a Dutch cheese factory, a wooden shoe factory and enjoy a royal diamond demonstration at Zaanse Schans; After that we will travel to Giethoorn, you would discover the ‘Green Venice’ of Holland and enjoy one hour free boat cruise in Giethoorn.

This trip is suitable for the travellers who want to spend more time in two places. This 10 hours experience gives you a relaxed, memorable and enjoyable tour with lots of beautiful photos. *Please note: at the peak season, we might combine two groups together, but we will contact you in advance about this.

A trip with a knowledgeable and fun guide - Our guide Pete is very knowledgeable and fun to be with. He answered almost all our questions except the exact number of medical schools in Netherlands.

Memorable trip to beautiful, picturesque villages in the country side…Expect touristy but still pleasant experiences. - Beautiful places at a comfortable pace. Kai was very helpful, informative and witty. Overall an enjoyable and memorable tour to the outside of Amsterdam city centre, a journey we are so glad to have taken before the end of our vacation. Had a bit of worries earlier the day before, trying to get in touch through their main number to confirm pick up details. They weren’t responsive the whole time. But all was good, they got in touch by 7:30pm and all was easy.

Great experience - Such a beautiful peaceful village, even though there were many many people and many many boats. Eric was a great host and guide. The windmills and area were just beautiful. I would highly recommend this day trip.

Great experience - Amazing villages to walk around and get demonstrations included for cheese and Clogs. Liked all the little shops and paths in Zaanse Schans and we went into a Windmill with great views (extra cost). Geithroon was also wonderful with a scenic boat ride included.

Great enjoyable tour - It was a great tour. We enjoyed the whole trip and the tour. Zane’s Scchans offered some unique experiences for us as tourists. It was good to see how they have set it up as a a spot for tourists to enjoy. Great cheese tasting and many choices to purchase. Giethoorn is also a unique and a very beautiful place. Also a relaxing yet very enjoyable place. Kai is an excellent tour guide. He made the tour more enjoyable. Excellent interaction and communications. Thank you Kai

Perfect Day in Holland - What a lovely day visiting windmills, watching clog and cheese making in Zaanse Schans and cruising the canals of Geithoorn. Our driver was awesome and shared so much information with us!!
