All in all, well worth it - This was a great experience. First, our driver/guide- awesome! The van was nice and comfy. The fisrt castle, probably a waste of time as they nickle and dime you once you get up there. The town of Ljubljana was just beautiful as well as the lake bled. All in all, well worth it!

Nice Day Trip - The tour agency kept us informed of itinerary changes ahead of time. The tour guide, Renalto, was friendly, informative and adjusted to the pace of the group as well as individuals. He personalized the tour as well. Lake Bled was beautiful and the views from the Castle were phenomenal. Ljubljana was surprisingly delightful.

Slovenia tour for you! - Excellent day tour into Slovenia! We spent 3 hours in the capital of Ljubljana, free time, choosing to do what we wanted. This was ample time to walk around and get a feel for this beautiful city. After this we drove to the amazing place of Lake Bled! Gorgeous setting, nestled among the mountains, we took the funicular to the castle at the top, then had free time to see things such as the museum and printing shop. Free time followed at the edge of the lake to either take a horse carriage ride, relax by the surrounded beauty, or taste the famous Bled cream cake which is so delicious! Our guide for the day (Matjana?) was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional, driving us safely to and from and sharing bits of Croatian history and that of the fall of Yugoslavia. Very enjoyable day all around!

Good day trip - Dinka was a great guide. - Funicular and bridges were great. Could’ve used more time for shopping.
Guide was great. Had more time than needed in Lake Bled because guide didn’t really recommend going to island.

Well worth the long day - Try the dumplings in the square behind the Preseren statue in Ljubljana - the mango yogurt one was delicious! The city was picturesque and clean!
Originally, we didn’t think the castle would be worth it but were we ever wrong! Not your typical stuffy castle and the views are so worth it! We come from a part of the world where glacier fed lakes are abundant but this one had a charm all its own!

Great trip to Slovenia - We had an amazing day visiting Slovenia. The tour guide was excellent. We were picked up right at our hotel and left on time. The food recommendations were great. The views throughout the trip were beautiful. Slovenia is very green and pretty. We enjoyed the entire experience including the visit to the chocolate shop in the city to the old press shop in the castle. The shops in the city and fun to visit. Lake Bled is very beautiful. We enjoyed the traditional cake overlooking the lake and castle. The day was relaxing. The history was fascinating. It is a small group which made everything more enjoyable. This is a must do day trip.

Great day trip from Zagreb - Ljubljana and Bled are definitely worth visiting. Ljubljana was a great mix of historical places and trendy modern cafes, and Bled was breathtaking. The van was clean, on time, and our guide was great about communicating. The only thing i would have changed would have been to spend an extra hour or two in Ljubljana to explore a bit more.

Ljubljana and Bled! - Our tour guide Matt was great and so was our little group of seven. The drives between destinations do not feel long, so is a great day trip from Zagreb. Ljubljana and Bled have been the highlights of our time in both Slovenia and Croatia.

Slovenia Special - It's a lot of driving but was well worth it
Thunderstorm clouds threatened for most of the day, other than some light showers, we were very lucky
Our guide was very knowledgeable and had some great suggestions for where to eat, especially when it came to famous local dishes and desserts
Was well worth the cost
