Great day trip in small group. Excellent guide and the wonders of the park! - The tour company and our guide Sasha were excellent. Had a great time. Sasha was very engaging and enthusiastic which made the day even better. The sights are worth the trip. I do recommend the small group tour if that is available. Just a small van with up to 8 people. Makes the day easier and more efficient. Have fun!

A wonderful day out! - We had an excellent time on this tour with our guide Katia, who explained plenty about the area and led us through quieter parts of the lakes which we really enjoyed. It was done at a great pace, we also enjoyed the Rastoke village visit, and took advantage of a dinner recommendation. Would absolutely recommend to everybody!

Overwhelmed by Nature's Beauty - Plitvice Lakes National Park and - From Zagreb, 17 July 2024 We walked approximately 9 km (about 3 hours) from the Lower Lakes to the Upper Lakes, experiencing the breathtaking natural scenery where lakes transition from emerald green to blue, accompanied by numerous waterfalls of varying sizes. On the way back, we took a sightseeing boat and then a shuttle bus. We were truly moved by the natural beauty and grandeur of the lakes and forests. The tour group consisted of 8 people from Belgium, Canada, the US, the UK, and Japan. There was one guide who accompanied us from the hotel throughout the hike, providing cheerful and detailed explanations about Plitvice. In the bus, the guide shared information about Croatia's politics, history, and daily life in English that was easy to understand, even for Japanese speakers. Although both of us are in our 60s, we managed to enjoy the entire hike. However, since the 9 km trail is not flat and includes some ups and downs, it might not be suitable for those without adequate physical strength. We had lunch at a rest house along the way, and the cheeseburger recommended by the guide was large and delicious.

The lake at Plitvice are... - The lake at Plitvice are incredible. This tour also does the upper lakes, which will experience much fewer people as most seem to just do the lower lakes. There is a good amount of walking, which as people noted is at a good pace, though I did not feel rushed. However, the pace is needed to get in everything and there is opportunities to take plenty of pictures along the way. If you want to actually stop at many spots along the way, then you probably need to tour by yourself and not as part of a guided tour. Also, the time is very dependent on traffic, as an accident caused the time to the lakes to take about 3 times as long. However, the guide made sure we got our full time at the lakes and did not cut anything short despite all the traffic putting us much behind schedule.

Croatia's Breathtaking Landscapes - We visited Plitvice Lakes with a short stop in the charming village of Rastoke, and it was an unforgettable experience. Our knowledgeable guide provided fascinating insights into the area's history and natural beauty, making the trip even more enriching. Rastoke's picturesque watermills and waterfalls were a perfect prelude to the stunning turquoise lakes and majestic waterfalls of Plitvice. The friendly and super nice group added to the enjoyment, making it feel like an adventure with old friends. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to explore Croatia's breathtaking landscapes.
