Wonderful trip to lakes with exceptional guide - Our guide Karlo gave us the most amazing day. We have been in Europe four weeks and this day has been the highlight. The lakes are so beautiful but Karlo made the day for us. He is so considerate from snacks in the car, picnic lunch to his careful driving and excellent commentary. He is very knowledgeable. We only speak English and his English is excellent. We found Karl so good we did some other trips with him.

An unforgettable day at Plitvice Lakes - Seeing Plitvice Lakes has been on my wishlist for many years, and it was everything I thought it would be and more. The park and falls are beautiful and are a very special place. Karlo was a fantastic guide. He took such good care of me. The snacks and picnic lunch he brought were perfect and a wonderful personal touch. He thought of everything and was prepared for anything. I felt that he wanted me to have the best time possible. He is so easy to talk to I felt like I spent the day with a friend. He is very knowledgeable about the history of Croatia and Park, along with answering all my questions about Croatia.If I come back Croatia I will definitely take more tours with Karlo. Karlo is the best! - The park was just magical! What even made it more special was Karlo who made the experience very personal and unique. It made a huge difference that he asked about our preferences. He is open to offer additional ideas or to adjust the program along the day. So organized, flexible and caring. Magical Day at Plitvice - This was by far one of the greatest experiences that I have had traveling! The lakes are magnificent and the colour of the water is stunning. It was so clear that we saw some fish as well. The waterfalls were breathtaking and walking along wooden boardwalks over the water was a really cool experience. Our guide, Karlo, taught us about the history of Croatia and the history of the preservation of the lakes. He went above and beyond by picking us up in Zagreb, personally driving us to and from the lakes, preparing a fantastic homemade charcuterie lunch for us and taking some amazing photos of us. Every tour that we had with Karlo was an amazing experience and I highly recommend not only this tour, but all of the other tours that he offers. He truly made our visit to Plitvice a day to remember!

Picky planner meets her match! - We booked a few days with Karlo to cover both Zagreb and the Plitvice region and it was a far-above-average, beyond-excellent experience. We've tended to have good experiences with our trips by booking the kind of tours he offers here, but for this trip his efforts stood above the rest. I highly recommend not just the single tours offered here, but reaching out to Karlo to design a customized tour. It's not our usual route when traveling, I'm a good planner and usually piece our trips together myself. But we asked Karlo to find us a specific and unique experience and he arranged the whole thing, plus we added his suggestion for a hike in the lakes region and a tour of Zagreb. The result was a fantastic trip. His local contacts are unmatched, he arranged a BnB that was excellent, and he was able to give us a stunningly comprehensive set of experiences in just a few days, AND leave us wanting to come back to Croatia. Karlo is personable, funny, and extremely knowledgeable. If you end up driving with him, he's a super safe driver with a great, clean, smoke-free car, and leaving the driving to him was probably around the same cost as renting ourselves without all the aggravation. I can't recommend Bespoke Croatia enough, and we look forward to seeing Karlo again to do Slovenia someday!

Best tour ever - Our group had a perfect and wonderful tour with Karlo. He is one of the best tour guide I have ever met. Highly appreciate his knowledge of history, enthusiasm and thoughtfulness. We will definitely go on a tour with Karlo if we have a chance to come back Croatia.

Greatest trip to the lakes - The tour was excellent: with everything so well organized, even though it was planned on a very short notice. Karlo was very responsive and provided all the necessary information in advance. He is a great guide, knowledgeable not only about the park and the lakes (incl. all the best locations, hidden gems, photo spots and timings), but also about country’s history and culture - so that we had a great conversation for the whole drive. And special thanks for the picnic - it was absolutely delicious, a real tour into the local gastronomy! And of course the park itself needs no comments - this is absolutely must-see, one of the most magical places on earth!

(and we did several local tours in various countries before) We learned a lot about the Croatian history and culture from him, as well as some really good photos by him at the lakes!

Amazing Day - Rastoke was amazing, waterfalls everywhere. It turned out to be only a preview of what was to come. Plitvice Lakes is a wonderful national park. We were with a friend who absolutely loves waterfalls. We think he said "WOW" 655 times while we were in the park, turned back for one last look and added another WOW. Karlo is an exceptional guide. He took excellent care of us. The homemade snacks for our picnic were delicious. He included offerings for one of our group who eats fish but not meat. Those in our group were active 70+s. He helped us see the entire park using a strategy that worked for us. If we ever go back to Croatia this is one tour we would absolutely repeat. We would take any tour that Karlo leads.

Great experience at the Lakes - highly recommended - Karlo was a fantastic guide! While the lakes were spectacular, what made the tour stand out was Karlo's generous sharing of his knowledge and his warm and friendly company. He took care of us and made sure we were comfortable - it was raining and we're not the most outdoorsy people so we relied on his judgement and experience, and ended up having the most enjoyable time! We definitely wouldn't have seen as much without him leading and telling us that it's doable. (: He also prepared snacks and thoughtfully offered to help us take photos throughout the walk. It was such a great experience even with the rain. Highly recommended for anyone considering taking a tour with Bespoke/Karlo!
