Highlights
  • Marathonísi - Enchanting Island of Marathonisi islet Stop for Swimming at beautiful Sandy Beach.

Marathonissi is a small private island in the turtles’ bay close to Limni Kerì’s beach.

Until the second world war the island was lived, today it has neither inhabitants nor buildings.

It is now one of the areas where the CARETTA CARETTA turtles go to breed.

  • Keri Caves - First Stop will be at Keri Caves - Amazing place First Stop for Swimming

Kerì Caves, accessible only by sea with private boats or our excursions, develop along the promontory of Marathia Cape, in the South-West area of the island.

Along the coast there are many caves which entrances scarcely suffice to get in swimming, others are broad enough to enter directly with a boat.

It is very easy to reach the caves that are surmounted by cliffs where the sea is very deep and as such reachable.

  • Laganas - Turtle Spotting: Starting with Turtles Spotting just out in the Laganas Bay

The Caretta Caretta Turtle is a specimen still living in the Mediterranean and it is possible to meet it there since it spawns along the beaches of the Laganas Gulf.

They can have considerable dimensions (the largest weights 140 kg. and measures circa 120 cm whereas the smallest measures 80 cm.) but, in spite of this, they are very fast.
Thanks to the big anterior and the stiff posterior fins they can reach 30km/hour and so protect themselves from possible dangers.

What's Included

Amazing tour with a Super commander - Amazing tour and Super commander! Incredible places especially at this time of year. Booked directly on Yotomu, incredible operator assistance. Everything as described, left from the small port of Agios Sostis with a small boat with about 20 people on board. At the end of the Tour I took the opportunity to take a short walk to Cameo Island which is right there. Thanks again guys for a lovely day

Disappointed - Very disorganised at the harbour, a huge group of people that then got split into 2 groups, then crammed on to boats that appeared to be over occupied. We paid for a glass bottom boat and got. A boat that had a 1 Meter square hole in the floor that we not 4 people could actually see into at a time considering this boat had over 50 people. We then went out to see and then appeared to be circling a a group of Turtles while joined by another 10 vessels this surly is not good for the health of the turtle?

Still fighting to get my refund. Don't book last minute! - I only wanted a refund simply because i did a last minute booking (90 mins prior) and Viator did not relay the information in time. I am now fighting to get a refund since this company refused to issue the refund. **We arrived around 15 minutes early, and I provided the captain with my name, but he couldn't find my details due to the last minute booking. He then directed us to another location, stating that our boat wasn't here yet but would arrive soon. However, the boat that came was from a different company and could accommodate 90 people, more than what the booking information listed, and that captain confirmed us it wasn't his boat after I showed him our tickets. Then a friend contacted the company (in question) we booked with, and they sent back the same person who initially directed us away, now with a full boat. The captain docked, apologized for the confusion, and requested us to wait for 10 more minutes as another boat was on its way. About 20 minutes later, nearly 50 minutes past our scheduled 1pm departure, a 16-year-old showed up, saying he was preparing another boat to take us out. Unfortunately, this boat was smaller than the stated capacity of 23 people and didn't have a glass bottom as advertised. At this point, I needed to use the restroom and asked the young man for its location. He sarcastically replied that there was none on the boat as you can see and suggested I go in the water. Unaware of my IBS condition, I left to find a restroom, which took about 10 minutes due to its location. Upon returning, I found my friends not on the boat and they explained that the young boy wouldn't wait for me and they were also uneasy about a minor operating the boat. We ended up booking with a different company, where they informed us that one must be at least 20 years old to drive the tour boats. The young boy had told my friends he was just 16. When I raised this issue with the operator over WhatsApp, he blocked me. Prior to blocking me, he offered a tour the following day, but our flight back to Athens was already scheduled for 6pm. Fast forward to the tour with the new company, we saw the boat with the young boy, who seemed to have picked up an adult at one of the stops. After a conversation with the adult, he assured me that I would receive a refund. That assurance was the only reason I didn't pursue the matter further while in Greece. I have five other people that can back up the facts I laid out.** see screenshots of my conversation with the operator.
