Highlights
  • Zakynthos Town - Your unique experience will begin with a convenient pick-up from your hotel/accommodation and from different locations on the island.
Our guide/drivers will transfer you via private VIP Air-con vehicles from location to location, giving you maps and explaining the itinerary to you.

  • Xigia Sulfur Beaches - Xigia Sulfur beach, (also known as Collagen Beach) with its collagen and natural Sulphur sweeping on the shore, at this unique phenomenon, the water appears to be a milky blue color which is stunning, this is meant to boost Collagen which has a lot of health benefits for your skin
The lush, secluded beach is quite small but the color is beyond beautiful, taking a path in the natural Spa of Xigia beach will stay in your memory for a long time
And if you need any refreshments on the beach, look out for the most ingenious and funny way they get drinks down to the beach…brilliant! It is very picturesque and has good photo opportunities from the clifftop.

  • Makris Gialos Beach - The picturesque beach of Makris Gialos is located on the north of the island, between Alykes and Agios Nikolas. It is a pebble beach with incredible turquoise, crystal-clear waters but the most interesting thing about it is the group of sea caves on the rocks around the beach, Some of the caves can only be visited by swimming. The scenery is stunning.
We will stop at an iconic vantage point for a panoramic picture from above the beach

  • Agios Nikolaos - The port of Agios Nikolaos lies on the North East coast of Zakynthos, it has a lovely small beach with turquoise crystal-clear waters and few traditional seafood taverns with a great view directly at the seaside.
An islet, also named Agios Nikolaos, lies off the coast, protecting the harbor from the northerly winds.
Here is the starting point of our 3-hour boat trip to the shipwreck beach and the blue caves in a medium-sized glass-bottom boat.

  • Navagio Beach (Shipwreck Beach) - This is one of the most famous beaches on the planet, grab your camera and get ready to snap the most amazing pictures with the most amazing background of the small cove surrounded by steep limestone formations. You will have the opportunity to swim in the most stunning, turquoise water in the world, relax and enjoy the extraordinary scenery that nature has created and of course the stunning views beyond description. Explore the rusty hull of the commercial shipwreck, named, M/V Panagiotis, which grounded onshore in 1980 and lies in the middle of the white sandy beach. Although it has decayed quite a lot, it still looks magnificent. Leaving Navagio Beach (Smugglers Cove), the captain will bring the boat to the best location of the beach with the shipwreck in the background to capture the best photos.

  • Blue Caves - Sailing back along the west coastline of Zakynthos, the blend of emerald waters, a beautiful seabed, sheltered coves, secluded beaches, and amazing blue caves.
The blue caves are one of the island’s most famous attractions after the shipwreck beach and while these natural wonders have been formed by continual erosion of the cliffs, they create a series of magical chambers. They take their name from the sapphire color cast by the sunlight shimmering through the water and being reflected into the caves.
Our small-medium seized boat allows us not only to get right into some of the caves but you can also enjoy swimming and snorkeling for about inside or next to one of them enjoying its breathtaking natural turquoise seawaters which paint the limestone and everything around in a stunning, ethereal blue (including you).

  • Navagio Beach (Shipwreck Beach) - We will head here at midday, the right time, sun, and sea will sparkle in many shades of turquoise. In addition, the area is filled with green, especially rosemary and sage. From the platform, you will be able to see and photograph what is considered one of the 30 most beautiful beaches all over the world. Nevertheless, from here you can see neither the whole cove nor the whole shipwreck and again (for safety reasons) you will follow the guide walking about 10min along a stony path leading out to the cliff top to a high promontory facing the sea, where he will help you capture the best photos of the iconic images of the cove and the shipwreck at the background. The water is so clear that when you take pictures of boats from above, it seems weird as you can see the shadow on the seabed and gives the illusion that they are floating over the water instead of touching it.

  • Anafonitria - Stop for lunch (own expenses) at a typical Greek, Zakynthian family-run taverna, named Galaxy, a neat location at Anafonitria, a junction of a small mountain village with views of green hills, only 3 kilometers away from the shipwreck viewpoint. Yiayia ( means grandmother in Greek ) Dimitra is the boss of the kitchen, with her very tasty home-cooked traditional dishes with fresh homegrown vegetables and homemade wine and desserts, while the rest of the family would treat you like a family member or a friend. Simply authentic taverna in a mountain village, very nice atmosphere, good menu, sensible prices, very generous dishes.

  • Exo Chora - The famous 2.000 years old olive tree is located in the village of Exo Chora, Zakynthos island. It is one of the seven oldest olive trees in the Mediterranean, and probably one of the oldest olive trees in the world. There is not yet an agreed-upon scientific method to ascertain the age of olive trees. In the case of this ancient olive tree, although its exact age cannot be verified, it is believed to be at least 2000 years old based on tree ring analysis. It still produces olives to this day. Here was one of the main filming locations of the famous Korean drama (the descendants of the sun).

  • Bochali View Point - The picturesque village of Bochali, almost hanging on top of the cape, offers a panoramic view to the infinite view of the Ionian Sea, the city, and the harbor
From this dream location, you can see also the mainland of Greece, and other islands in the distance.A perfect place to capture the most loving moments of your holiday during sunrise, daylight, or moonlight, also take pictures of the small church of Zoodochos Pigi with its Byzantine icons, or of the huge pinewood with the ancient Venetian castle

Very good! - We had an excellent tour guided by our guide/photographer, George, excellent!! We regret the sea conditions that did not allow us to dive on the shipwreck beach, with these changes in the weather our itinerary had to be adjusted and we did not meet EXO Chora. I suggest reducing the time at Xigia beach and more time for photos at Shipwerck View.

Nice tour, small comfortable van but a boat trip with many people - We liked the car with just 6 of us in. The beginning was delayed but not too long. The Shipwreck view point is great and easily accessible. The lunch was moderate and for that quality of taverna a bit expensive. We didn’t have a proper explanation during the trip, driver was almost always silent. The olive tree part is waste of time. This tour was advertised as VIP but we were with as many as 30 people on the boat. The swimming experience was great.

Okay tour - The vehicle was comfortable only if you sat in the front. Otherwise the rest of the seating area was pretty warm without adequate AC flow for passengers. It was a hot day so it would have been nice to have a cool vehicle to sit in. The sites were great but would have been nice to get more explanation or story telling. Overall the tour was okay.

Tour very different from description. - Didn't get what was promised. Tour was very different from description. Haven't even been to Blue Caves. Just like 4 other locations of this Tour. Boat trip to shipwreck was quick. Lying 1 minute off the coast and back again. We were allowed to swim in the shaded area where there was nothing to see. Captain (woman) was very shabby, gave 0 info. Stop 2 on schedule was sulfur beach. Well we saw that at 3 pm. Then there is no room left there. Olive press factory not seen. Instead of a commercial olive farm. The last stop was no longer made because it was not on the route! In short. Didn't get half of the tour. Positive was the driver. He was friendly. But we are not the only ones who had this experience. Read more reports that Dali tours does not take things so seriously. Tourists could anyway. Never again with this club.

Where is the boat? - We had booked a boat tour and we found ourselves going up and down the island on an old and dirty minibus between long stops at the bars/restaurants, rigorously chosen by the tour operator and a final visit to a sort of farm, for commercial purposes only. Apart from the stop at the Navagio panoramic point, and a short swim at the Blue caves, the excursion was totally devoid of meaning and added value.

It's an experience, but definitely not VIP. - I have just received your message asking me what I thought about the VIP All Day Small Group Tour to Shipwreck-Blue Caves-View point. This is actually my complaint email but as you make it impossible to reach you and make a complaint, I have posted it here in the hope you may come back to me as a customer. I booked this trip through Trip Advisor due to us as a family always using your site as a reliable and reassuring means of getting a transparent and honest view of accomodation, restaurants, holidays and so on. It's my fourth day into our family holiday today and I'm sat here on the beach thankful I do not have to have a day like I did Tuesday which as a family we all found pretty awful, stressful and definitely not a VIP experience as it is advertised. There are some key things I would like to point out as part of my complaint that are incorrect and false in your advertising of this experience as follows: Firstly, 'max of 15 per group' - we specifically chose this experience for this very reason. My 18 year old son is autistic and struggles in larger crowds so we felt this would be the least stressful option and paid more. To be sat on a boat and see the initial 15 people was great, but then to have the non VIP group start clambering onto the boat whilst we were waiting to go, taking it up to 40 people, all packed together like sardines and then one of the tour guides rudely shouting 'two need to move to balance the boat' - this was not my expectation of VIP and nor is it VIP. It was awful. We had people smoking on the boat which the captain saw and ignored. Squeezed together, I had a girl next to me vomiting into a bag, my rucksack trod on and the contents soaked. We spoke to people who paid much less than us for the same 'experience'. Had I known it would be like this, I would not have purchased this trip and at £200+ it is quite frankly disgusting. The 'Glass bottom boat' mentioned - it did not have a glass bottom..in fact it was the worst looking boat in the port. No toilet facilities so we had over two hours with no toilet. It states at that start of the tour we would be provided with maps. We had no map or clear understanding of what would be happening when and where. We were told upon arriving at Zante town that they would be changing the itinerary due to Bochali point being too hot later in the day, so we would go there first, but the whole itinerary was different to what is advertised. I understand there can be variations on a theme, but what we experienced was nowhere close to what you have advertised and low quality throughout. We had at least three occasions where we had to wait for the non VIP group to turn up at the stop location before we could continue with the tour. Upon pick up from the hotel, my son's seatbelt didn't work so my husband had to double his up over both of them in the front seat and the driver said he 'would drive slowly'. Risking safety ahead of the trip did not make us feel reassured at all. Navagio Beach - the trip advertises, 'You will have the opportunity to swim in the most stunning, turquoise water in the world, relax and enjoy the extraordinary scenery that nature has created and of course the stunning views beyond description. Explore the rusty hull of the commercial shipwreck, named, M/V Panagiotis, which grounded onshore in 1980 and lies in the middle of the white sandy beach. Although it has decayed quite a lot, it still looks magnificent. Leaving Navagio Beach (Smugglers Cove), the captain will bring the boat to the best location of the beach with the shipwreck in the background to capture the best photos.' Navagio Beach was closed. We had no idea this was the case at any point of advertising, purchase or on the bus.  One of the reasons we wanted to take this trip was to be able to get on that beach and give my children the experience of swimming there. When we realised that the boat was not docking and allowing us off, we looked up online whether it was actually open and found on the internet an article from March 2023 saying it would be closed for the summer of 2023. You clearly stated this trip has two visits to this beach and a two hour part of the journey. We spent a very hot 20 mins rocking on the packed boat with everyone clamouring to take photos and to stay out of the sun. The stop at Xigia Sulfur Beach was supposed to be a 15 mins stop, but we were told upon arriving there, we would be there for 40mims and could swim. This was one of the hottest parts of the day (where we alleged were supposed have visited Bochali point, but avoided due to the sun). There was a massive scramble to get down to the packed exposed beach and get one swim in. We then got back to the bus and had to wait in the hot sun ten mins for the driver to appear. The advertised stop at Makris Gialos Beach Beach Road did not happen and there was no mention of it. The Blue Caves - this is advertised as: 'Our small-medium seized boat allows us not only to get right into some of the caves but you can also enjoy swimming and snorkeling for about inside or next to one of them enjoying its breathtaking natural turquoise seawaters.' There was no option to swim inside or next to a cave. Instead, we stopped as a large group at a rocky beach and we were told that we could have 20 mins to swim by diving off the boat. The water was 3-4 metres deep so my daughter was not comfortable doing this as she is 13 and not a strong swimmer. There was no way we were going to leave her alone, so we stayed with her and none of us had a swimming experience until we got to Xigia beach at approx 3.30pm, so we had been out since 7.45am and this was the only chance. There was no tour guide offering any kind of info whilst we passed through the cave area either. The alleged stop at the Aristeon Ecological Olive Press did not happen. Instead, we were taken to a different part of the island where we visited an organic olive farm. We were ushered in to the place where we were seated on benches and then had to wait for the non VIP group to arrive before anything started. Once the other group had arrived we were then given a pitch about how great the owners olive oil was, what certificates he's won and then a small amount of bread was placed on the long table we were sat at. There was one small slice per 4 people which meant not everyone got to try the olive oil. After the pitch was finished we were directed to the shop to purchase products. Your advert for this trip says, 'Aristeon ecological olive oil press will guide you through the outdoor olive oil museum which reveals the history of olive oil making on the island throughout the centuries. You’ll be amazed by the old methods and early wooden types of equipment, as well as by the machine-run stone mill of later years and the factory’s cutting-edge productions. You will get to understand why olive oil is the gold of the Greeks and why the extra virgin oil produced here has unique healthy characteristics! You get to taste (for free) local olives and traditional village bread with different extra virgin olive flavors (most likely lemon, orange, and garlic). You could take a sample (also for free) of eco-olive oil cosmetic products such as shampoo, soap, body cream, and face.' None of what we experienced came close to this. It felt like a blatant sales pitch.  As I said at the start of my email, I feel completely missold and would never have paid such an extortionate amount of money if I had known how poor this experience is. We spoke to others who paid much less than us on the day for the same low quality. It was disappointing, stressful and has made me feel wary of trusting anything advertised on your site in future. I look forward to receiving your response regarding this matter.
