  • Titisee-Neustadt - Stop for roughly 2 hours in the picturesque town of Titisee-Neustadt, situated on the edge of Lake Titisee in the heart of the Black Forest. One of the area’s famous exports is German cuckoo clocks, so head inside Drubba

Then, spend the rest of your time in the town at leisure; stroll around Lake Titisee independently, enjoy a boat ride or perhaps visit a café to sample the region’s legendary Black Forest Gateau (activities and food at your own expense). The rich cake – also known as Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte – is constructed as a chocolate cake, layered with cherries, whipped cream and lashings of cherry brandy.

  • Lenzkirch - Meet your guide and travel south through the impressive spruce forests of Lenzkirch, working your way back into Switzerland.

  • Rhine Falls - Head into the Upper Rhine region to stop at Rhine Falls

europe trip with SAS Global- Tour Manager Kunal... - It was like a HOHO... but still worth the rush... the cuckoo clock makers were wonderful... Again it was the tour Manager Kunal who made it effective...cos' when you know what you are looking at , the viewing is all the more impressive...

Nice day trip - Enjoyable trip. The falls are amazing and the 15 minute boat ride was just enough and most affordable. The village is the Black Forest was interesting but mainly geared to tourists. I skipped the clock presentation but others said it was informative.

Great Tour, A Little Rushed - This was an awesome tour! It was easy to just get on the bus and see some awesome sights! I only have two things I would have liked to change: 1.) It felt a little rushed. We only had about 75 minutes once we got to Titisee. Eating takes up at least 20 minutes. You also have to account for getting back to the meeting spot. 2.) I would have liked to be in the forest itself. You will only be in the town.

Disappointing tour - Little bit disappointed with this tour. The Rhine Falls are actually incredibly small and it’s more like a small lake to walk around. I was very dissatisfied that we had less than an hour to look around the charming village of Lake Titisee. This was NOT enough time to stop in a cafe to try the famous Black Forest cake, explore the shops or take pictures of the beautiful area. This made it a let down.

OK, but not worth the travel - I thought the Rhein Falls were interesting and was worth seeing. They were about 45 minutes away from Zurich. The black forest portion of the trip is really misleading as a name. It was another hour plus of travel to get to a tourist trap small town in the black forest (I think) we really did not explore any part of the forest at all.
