Zhangjiajie Arrival
Wulingyuan Scenic and Historic Interest Area of Zhangjiajie - A local guide will welcome you at the airport or train station, followed by a private car transfer to the Pullman Hotel. You will have free time to explore the stunning Wulingyuan area, either by walking along the Suoxi River or strolling through Xi’bu Culture Street in the evening to enjoy the town’s night scene.
Zhangjiajie National Forest Park & Glass Bridge
Tianzi Mountain - Your guide and driver will meet you at 8:30 am for a 5-minute private car transfer to the gate of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. A park shuttle bus will take you to the Tianzi Mountain cableway station. After ascending the mountain by cableway, you will visit the Imperial Writing Brush Peaks, Xihai Stone Forest, and other breathtaking views and scenery.
Yuanjiajie - Next, we will take a 30-minute shuttle bus ride to Yuanjiajie, followed by a 1.5-hour easy walk to the Pillar of Southern Sky, which inspired the Hallelujah Mountains in the movie Avatar. From there, you will proceed to the Platform of Forgetfulness to admire nearby peak views before walking across the First Bridge Under Heaven.
BaiLong Elevator - We will descend the mountain using the BaiLong Elevator, which is made of see-through glass.
Zhangjiajie Glass Bridge - We will then take a 40-minute bus ride to Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon to walk along the Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon Glass Bridge. This bridge is the highest and longest glass bridge in the world and is not for the faint-hearted. The bridge spans 375 meters in length and 6 meters in width, with a height of 300 meters from the bottom.
Zhangjiajie National Park & Tianmen Mountain & Sky Walk
Golden Whip Brook - We will check out in the morning and explore the Golden Whip Stream (Jinbianxi). This enchanting valley is reminiscent of Pandora’s wonderland from the movie Avatar. You will enjoy a leisurely 1-hour hike along the stream, surrounded by beautiful mountains, fresh air, and pure water.
Tianmen Mountain National Forest Park - Afterward, we will drive to Zhangjiajie city to visit Tianmen Mountain, where you can experience the skywalk and 999 steps. We will take a shuttle bus on the 99 curves of Tongtian Road to return to the city. You will also visit an art gallery featuring sandstone paintings to appreciate this unique art style. After returning to Zhangjiajie, you will have free time in the city until your tour concludes with a transfer to the airport according to your flight schedule.
