Taliouine - Taznakht - Ait Benhaddou (358km)

Ouarzazate - In the morning, we will pick you up from your hotel in Agadir and travel southeast through Taroudant and Taliouine. Enjoy the scenic views of the Souss plains with argan trees, where you might spot goats climbing these unique Moroccan trees. We will pass through Taliouine, a city renowned for its high-quality saffron. After stopping for lunch, we will head to the village of Ait Benhaddou to visit the Kasbah, a backdrop for many films such as The Gladiator and Lawrence of Arabia. Later, we will proceed to Ouarzazate, where you will spend the night in a hotel.

Ouarzazate - Skoura - Rose Valley - Todgha Gorge (369km)

Merzouga Desert - After a traditional Moroccan breakfast, we will head towards the desert, visiting typical Berber villages with marvelous kasbahs along the way, on a route known as the road of 1000 kasbahs. We will pass through the Skoura palm grove to enjoy the contrast between the palm trees and the Atlas Mountains. Then, we will head to Todra Gorge for dinner. Afterward, we will go to the town of Tinejdad, where you can try on Berber clothes (Saharian-nomadic) and take some pictures. In the afternoon, we will reach the town of Merzouga, where we will venture deep into the desert on camels and enjoy the sunset while riding. We will spend the night at a desert campsite, where you can savor traditional Moroccan tajine, sit by the fire, and listen to live traditional Moroccan music. If the weather permits, we can also admire the spectacular sunrise and sunset over the desert.

Merzouga - Rissani - Draa Valley (299km)

Agdz - Today, we will travel to Agdz via Rissani, Alnif, Tazzarine, and N’kob. We will depart for Rissani to visit the souk (local market) and observe how locals trade and shop. Then, we will head to Erfoud, the capital of fossils, to see how locals extract fossils. Later, we will drive towards Alnif, known as the home of trilobites, while enjoying views of the Anti-Atlas mountains and numerous acacia trees along the road. We will stop for lunch along the way. Later, we will drive along the Draa Valley to reach Agdz, where we will spend the night in a hotel.

Agdz - Taznakht - Taliouine (359km)

Agadir - This morning, we will leave the small town of Agdz, situated at the foot of Jbel Kissane Mountain, and travel to Agadir via Taznakht and Taliouine. We will pass by Bou-Azzer (a mine) and then Taznakht, a village in southern Morocco famous for its Berber carpets. We will cross the Kourkouda passage and the two passes of Tizi-n-Ikhsane (1650 m) and Tizi-n-Tighatine (1886 m) to reach Taliouine, the saffron capital, for a lunch break. After lunch, we will drive to Agadir, where you will be transferred to the hotel of your choice.
