Highlights
  • Agios Sozon - A few kilometers away from the bright blue waters of Agiassos bay in the southwest part of Naxos, one can encounter the seemingly-hanging whitened chapel of Agios Sozon. Traditionally regarded as the protector of sailors, Agios Sozon’s worship is celebrated in the villages of the mainland and coastal regions. His name translates into Greek as “savior”. Sailors often invoke him to save them from rough seas, saying “Holy Savior, save us!”
  • Σπήλαιο Ρήνα - Rina Cave is located by an unspoiled beach with exotic green waters, in the Kalandos area, on the island’s southern coast. The cave, which lies to the right side of the beach, features some bird nests while a spring offering fresh water lies to the left-hand side of the cave.
  • Naxos - Located on the island’s southern coast, Spedo beach on Naxos island is a an unspoiled beach with immaculately clean waters in an area graced by rare natural beauty. Ideal for tranquility and isolation.
  • Paralia Panormos - It is a sandy beach found at the southeast of the island at Panorama. Arguably one of its most attractive features is that it is one of the quietest beaches of Naxos if not the quietest.
