Book this tour! - This tour made our trip to Arlington national cemetery that much better. Lots of good info without having to walk miles and miles, and gave us a roof in a brief drizzle. The flexibility to get on/off let us spend as much time as we wanted in some areas. So glad we bought this tour and highly recommend!

Proud to be an American - I was at DC for only a day. Visiting the Arlington National Cemetery was one of my goals for such a short amount of time. I am so glad to see such of meaningful and historic place. I was not born in this country but I have such an admiration and respect for it ‘s history that I feel it’s part of my own history . Proud to be an American by choice .

ANC hop on off tram - The changing of the guard is a must see! There is only one route which doesn’t covers the entire cemetery. That is the only flaw.

Bit of a disappointment... - I have been wanting to get my husband to Arlington National Cemetery for years. He served in the Navy and we have enjoyed several documentaries about Arlington National Cemetery. We took the shuttle tour with a guide, allowing for hop-on-hop-off service. We also downloaded Arlington National Cemetery's nifty APP so that we could find various graves, including Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Maureen O'Hara, George Marshall, Robert Todd Lincoln, Thurgood Marshall, Omar Bradley, etc. When we arrived, we were told that instead of the normal number of shuttle stops, they were only stopping at three locations: JFK's grave, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldiers and Arlington House. We couldn't even really get close to JFK's grave because they are doing major maintenance work throughout the cemetery. We had to walk a good distance and much of it is uphill. As for our grave search, it was a failure. At our age and with bad knees, there is no way that we could walk through 639 acres trying to find exact stones from the three stops provided. Also, each shuttle had a guide to give narration about the history of the cemetery, interesting people buried there (known and unknown), monuments and memorials, etc. But some of them sounded like they were announcing a baseball game! Also, they tried to call your attention to "driver's side or passenger side" and did it so quickly that you couldn't see anything. On top of that, there was a lot of noise from the back-hoes and tractors, plus jets kept flying nearby. It seemed totally irreverent. My husband was pretty disgusted. Besides the issues listed above, he thought that JFK's grave site was underwhelming. The one positive was that because my husband has a disability card, we didn't have to pay for the shuttle--it is free to a disabled person with valid certification, plus one guest. So that saved us close to $40. I realize that all the road-work is not necessarily normal, but it certainly caused us to have a less than stellar experience.

Jfk gravesite was off limits - We enjoyed the historic visit to Arlington National Cemetery however we were disappointed that JFK's gravesite was off limits. We didn't receive a reasonable explanation for the closure. We traveled from Houston just to view his gravesite in person.

Tourist trap - English is not our first language, the narrators we had spoke too quickly and mumbled. Lots of waiting at each stop, really disappointing.
