- Auckland Central - Your tour begins in New Zealand’s largest city. As we depart, your guide will set the stage for today’s adventure and highlight some of the area’s top attractions.
- Whangarei Falls - Leaving Auckland, we head north through stunning coastal landscapes, over mountain ranges with breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean, and past various farm animals. We take a quick break in Whangarei to visit the impressive Whangarei Falls.
- Paihia - As we continue north, the beautiful scenery persists, and our guide will share interesting facts and stories about the area. We arrive in Paihia, the main town of Bay of Islands, where you’ll have a short time to explore this charming seaside town filled with art shops and cafés while your guide collects the cruise tickets.
- Bay of Islands - Embark on a magical cruise exploring the numerous islands in the area. During the cruise, guides will share the rich history and natural beauty of the region while searching for the marine life that makes these cruises famous. With some luck, we may spot dolphins or whales for you to enjoy.
- Urupukapuka Island - No Bay of Islands cruise is complete without a beach stop on one of the islands. We’ll visit Otehei Bay on Urupukapuka Island, where you can swim, stroll along the white sand beach, hike to the hilltop for scenic views of the entire Bay of Islands, or relax at the island’s fully licensed bar and café.
- Russell - Free time in the Bay—as the cruise concludes, you’ll have some flexible time to enjoy. You might explore the historically significant town of Russell (New Zealand’s first capital) or, if time permits and at your own expense, visit the Waitangi Treaty Grounds (the birthplace of New Zealand).
- Auckland - Sadly, after a day in paradise, we must head south again. However, your day isn’t over yet, as we have a fully guided return trip to Auckland with secret stops along the way.
