- Ancient City of Ephesus - After greeting, we will have 2,5 hours drive to Ephesus area. We will start visiting one of the main highlights in Turkey, Ephesus, one of the 12 cities of Ionian League (an ancient Greek district on the western coast of Asia Minor) is located near Izmir. As a port city it was a major departure point for trade routes into Asia Minor.
Walk through history along marble streets lined with wonderful public buildings, among them the Baths of Scholastica, the Library of Celsus; it was built in the beginning of the 2nd century A.D. by Gaius Julius Aquila to be a memorial to his father Gaius Julius Celsus Polemanus, the proconsul of Province of Asia. , the Temple of Hadrian and The Grand Theater are two of the most impressive buildings in Ephesus. Grand theatre was built in 3rd century B.C and it was later expanded to 24.000 spectators by the Romans in the 1st century A.D. Terrace Houses can be included into the program by paying the entrance fee during the tour
- Meryemana (The Virgin Mary’s House) - After Traditional Turkish Lunch, our next destination is The House of Virgin Mary is located on the Aladag Mountains 5 miles away from Ephesus. At the third Ecumenical Council on 431 AD in Ephesus, it was claimed that Mary came to Ephesus with St. John in 37 A.D. and lived there until her death in 48 A.D. After the discovery of the house, the Archbishop of Izmir declared there as a place of pilgrimage in 1892. On July 26, 1967, Pope Paul VI visited this place and prayed there.
- The Temple of Artemis - We will stop at Artemis Temple where used to be one of the seven wonders of the ancient world as our last stop before drive back to Bodrum port.

Biblical tour with emre. - What an unbelievable day! Emre taught us so much. We learned things about the Bible we had never known. Of all the tours we’ve done so far this was hands down the best. We enjoyed every minute: the tour through Ephesus, the traditional lunch, the rug tour and the basilica of St. John. The shoppers in the group enjoyed the leather shop and the shops around the port as well as looking (and buying) a beautiful handmade rug.

Best Excursions we had for the Mediterranean cruise - We did 2 tours with Ephesus Shuttle tours, Kusadasi and Istanbul. They were both wonderful!!!! The tour guides were very knowledgeable, they managed the schedule very efficiently, we were able to visit most of the famous attractions and get back to the cruise ship on time!!!! They are excellent. Just contact Fevzi Turhan and tell him what you want to see, and he will come up with the best small group tour for you!!!! The price is very reasonable too!!!

Ephesus Tour - The tour was one of the highlights of the trip to Kusadasi. Out guide, Mr Iskender was very knowledgeable and pointed out things of both historical and cultural interest. He really brought this ancient city to life. He also did not "rush" us, and gave us time to ;ook at things and ask questions. lunch was filling but non-remarkable.. I would have thought it would be a Turkish culinary experience rather than a watered down tourist version, but the venue was very pleasant ( in the gaardens of a rug/carpet making showroom). I am glad that we went during the week and not on a weekend, as the ruins and Mary's House were not overwhelmed by visitors. Apparently June July and August are so hectic with visitors that you get pushed along in the current :)
But I can definitely recommend this Tour Operator

What a wonderful tour!! - I just can’t say enough about how absolutely amazing Ephesus Shuttle was! Excellent and informative tour with a friendly and very knowledgeable guide, Emre! In addition to our tour, we stopped for a delicious lunch and also visited a beautiful pottery shop and learned how Turkish rugs are made. It was an all around perfect day. Highly recommended!!

Amazing guided tour! - We had an amazing private shore excursion with Mrs. Dicle ("Dee") to Ephesus and the House of Virgin Mary. Dee met us promptly at our ship and guided us to our driver who was located nearby. On the brief drive to Ephesus, she gave us some history of ancient and modern Turkey and described some of the farming and towns that we were passing. In Ephesus, she expertly guided us to shaded spots throughout the site to give us an encyclopedic tour of everything we saw. Our professional driver met us as we came out the other entrance of the ancient city. We then visited the House of Virgin Mary and finished with an absolutely delicious lunch in Selçuk with fresh vegetable meze and traditional Kofte. This was by far our favorite and best excursion of our whole trip - truly a bucket list experience. Dee was amazing and I am so incredibly grateful that we got to learn about the area with her!

Amazing experience with tour guide Melih - This was the best tour that we took on our one month vacation in Turkey. Make sure to request Melih. Very knowledgeable and flexible. We were a tour of 3 adults and one teenager.

You really must ask for Emre when you book a tour with this company - I booked our tour with Emre on the recommendation of a friend of ours here in Canada, and am so glad that I did. We were met on the dock near the ship with no fuss whatsoever. Being first-time cruisers we were somewhat nervous, but Emre put us completely at ease. His English was perfect, and his knowledge of his town and country (and history of course) was impressive. We had an amazing day.
Tours can be booked online - you can trust the company completely, they are totally reliable and we had no fear of using our credit card.

Ephesus tour - Good tour. Only complaint is we couldn’t go to another spot. We would have preferred to not have lunch and see other sites. He was incredibly knowledgeable. We didn’t need to have lunch and see shops. Wanted to see Apollo’s temple.

Family & Friends Tour of Ephesus - We had a customized tour of Ephesus, Turkey. We we were picked up on time. We were given a tour of the ruins. We had stopped for a bonus fashion show, at a leather factory. Great service!
