Highlights
  • Cape Town Central - Our tour begins with a pick-up from your accommodation in Cape Town and nearby areas at 9:00 am (flexible) for this private tour to the Cape of Good Hope and Boulders Penguins colony. We start with a brief city orientation drive to view key monuments and buildings in the city center.
  • Bo-kaap - Next, we stop in Bo-Kaap (Cape Malay Quarter) for a photo opportunity with its colorful houses, which hold significant historical value. You might even get a chance to greet some locals if they are around. Your tour guide will explain the historical importance of the colorful houses.
  • Camps Bay - We then take a scenic drive along the Atlantic Seaboard, with mountains on one side and the ocean on the other, passing through Three Anchor Bay, Bantry Bay, and Clifton, and stopping in Camps Bay. Maiden’s Cove is an ideal spot for memorable photos with stunning views of the Twelve Apostles and Camps Bay beach.

This cove is one of the best places in Cape Town for panoramic photos of the ocean, Camps Bay Beach, and views of Table Mountain, Lion’s Head, and the beautiful suburbs of Clifton and Camps Bay. We call this the Kodak moment.

  • Chapman’s Peak Drive - Leaving Hout Bay, we drive along Chapman’s Peak and stop at the viewpoint for breathtaking photos. It’s no wonder Chapman’s Peak is one of the most scenic routes in the world.
  • Hout Bay - Traveling along the Atlantic scenic seaboard, we pass through Llandudno, known for some of the most expensive real estate in South Africa, until we reach Hout Bay. At Hout Bay harbor, you have the option to take a 45-minute boat cruise to Seal Island to see the seals or shop at the market.
  • Seal Island - If you choose the optional boat trip to Seal Island, it will last 45 minutes. This excursion depends on the weather. Please bring a light jersey as temperatures can drop at sea.
  • Noordhoek Farm Village - We continue our coastal journey with an optional stop in Noordhoek, offering breathtaking views of Noordhoek and Long Beach below. Travelers can enjoy some of the best coffee brewed in Cape Town at the Village Roast at their own expense.
  • Cape Point Vineyards Tasting Room - An optional stop for wine tasting at the beautiful Cape Point Vineyards is available. Surrounded by stunning vineyards and ocean views in the distance, the cool sea breezes result in a slow-growing season and a late harvest, producing a unique Sauvignon Blanc recognized globally for its rich minerality, structure, and tone. An optional sit-down lunch at their restaurant or a picnic lunch overlooking the man-made dam is highly recommended.
  • Cape of Good Hope - We explore the Cape of Good Hope and take an iconic photo with the Cape of Good Hope name board. Here, we also explore the Dias & Vasco Da Gama monuments. You’ll see beautiful beaches along the way, as well as various fauna and flora.
  • Old Cape Point Lighthouse - From the Cape of Good Hope, we drive to Cape Point. Upon arrival, you can choose between a 15-minute hike or taking the Flying Dutchman Funicular to the Cape Point Lighthouse. Here, we also explore the most southwestern point of Africa, known as Cape Point, where the cold Benguela current from the Atlantic Ocean meets the warm Agulhas current of the Indian Ocean.
  • Boulders Beach Penguin Colony - Our next stop is the Penguins colony at Boulders Beach, where your guide will take you to the viewing point to see some of the 2500 breeding pairs of African Penguins up close. You might even spot one or two of these charming creatures walking alongside you on the boardwalk.
  • Muizenberg Beach - On our return route, we pass Muizenberg, where you’ll see the colorful beach huts used as changing rooms. These huts are reminiscent of the “bathing machines” of the 1800s, which were cart-like structures wheeled to the water’s edge, allowing ladies to change into their bathing costumes.
  • Cape Town Central - Drop-off will be back at your accommodation in Cape Town at approximately 6:00 pm.

Wonderful day of fun and new sights - It was a wonderful day, visiting all the sights. The driver and guide was very well informed, he pointed out all the sights in time. The driver drove slowly inside the Cape of Good Hope National Park and showed us wild zebras and ostriches. That was a rare sight. The driver gave us enough time at all the stops. Although the Chapman's peak was closed due to high winds, the driver kindly took us close to the road that led there and looped around showing us various areas on Cape Town. Seeing the penguins was a treat. The restaurant we were taken to for lunch served authentic dishes and we were thoroughly enjoyed it.

Full day Cape of Good Hope and Boulder beach penguins - This tour was everything we hoped for. Saeed (not sure the correct spelling) was very proffesional and car ride to all destinations was comfortable and informative. About 6 hrs for us to see the entire Cape and Boulder penguins. Just my wife and I.

Personally verified) - I liked the tour, I was picked up from the hotel on time, and then taken back to the hotel. We stopped at a local Starbucks, then went to see the penguins, stopped along the way to take photos of beautiful views, then went to the Cape of Good Hope and at the end we stopped at a neighborhood with colorful houses) the tour is in English, and my English is not very good, but the guide tried to make sure that I understood all the information) thank you ☺️

Cape point excursion - I had an amazing time! I personally didn’t feel rushed and felt like I got to see so many different places in one trip. What made the tour especially amazing were the two guides zen and Sylvia, they were so fun and friendly to spend the day with and converse with. It made the vibes feel very familial! One thing to note is the extra costs that aren’t included in the ticket like the entry costs but their description explains that. Highly recommend!

Nice tour with best guide Reagan - Our trip with Mr. President Reagan as our guide was absolutely brilliant. It was so much fun. Reagan Kuba is a very nice guide, always funny and the best photographer you can have. Pick up and drop off were in time. Perfect :) We learned many things about bo kaap and cape of good hope. Sometimes we wished that we have more time at the spots. For Lunch we were at harbourview restaurant in Simon's town. This was really bad, if you had the chance, eat in another restaurant. Thanks for a nice trip, Reagan

Worth the tour and guidance !! - Jean as our guide was absolutely how a private tour should be! we have seen in a day time some much beautifull sceneries. What we liked about the tour is that we get all details from Jean during a nice drive and stops to Cape de goede hoop and back.

Not the Best - I can not recommend this company, nor the guide, David, to other potential clients. The company was very slow to respond to my questions (had to ask 3 times) and did not share any of my comments with our guide in advance. The company car that was used had a wet/damp back seat that wet our pants, and David’s poor fix was to place napkins on the back seat. Note that I picked a private tour so that it could be modified to change one or two of the stops, with input from the guide, as he was the expert. I asked to discuss it when we got into the car, but basically he took off which resulted in him misunderstanding and we totally bypassed a couple of the locations we expected to go to. We did get several educational spiels, but was stopped from asking questions until he was done. We also wanted to stop for pictures at a couple of overlooks but he was unwilling. David was pleasant, but not friendly, although he was very friendly with the staff at all the parks where we got dropped off at. And everyone should note, this guide doesn’t guide you once you get out of the car at the various destinations. You are on your own. We were disappointed and definitely had a different experience from other couples we met who also did private tours.
