A wnderful morning learning about Goan history. - Really enjoyed this tour of the portuguese mansions in Chandor. Parvan was an excellent and knowledgeable guide. He took us through Goan history in an interesting and accessible manner. We loved seeing all the artefacts from a facinating period of local history and hope these can be preserved for future generations. We can recommend this tour and hope to do some others as well while we are here.

Step by Step through History: A memorable Walking tour experience - Pawan , our evening host , truly elevated our walking tour experience. While initially planning to explore on our own, but then we choose Make it happen. We Visited several Heritage homes and explored the ruins of a Shiva temple, each moment enriched by pawan's knowledge and hospitality. This experience is testament to the profound impact a great host can have on an adventure.

Fantastic tour! - This tour was absolutely worth its time in gold. Pawan was extremely knowledgeable. He answered all our questions and explained everything really well. The houses we visited were exquisite and full of history. The owners take visitors around and relay their family history and the history of interesting objects. We also visited a chapel (outside), the ruins of a Hindu temple and the river. I would 100% recommend this tour to anyone.

Good experience - Overall, it was a lovely experience. This was my second tour with Make it happen, and it was worth it. We visited two heritage houses and some old sites in Chandor. What could be better: The tour is priced at 1,200 per person. Plus you need a vehicle which means if you are not a local, you'll spend another 1,500-2,000 rupees on a cab ( taxis are quite expensive in Goa). So for two people the experience costs almost inr 4,000. Which can be costly. Second, we went in Sep and it was a very hot and humid day. And the houses we visited didn't even turn on the fans. The second house was particularly very stuffy and it was getting difficult to breathe. The least they can do is request hosts to switch on the fans at least in the hot weather. Except for these two things, it was a great tour. Plus the drive to Chandor is very scenic, making it worthwhile.
