- Ring of Kerry - We take the train from Dublin to Killarney where we onto the Railtours coach to do the Ring of Kerry. There are plenty of stops along the Ring of Kerry for morning tea, lunch and photo stops, etc. Ireland’s highest mountains are located in Kerry, and Carrantuohill
- which can be seen en route - is the highest, standing at 1041 metres high.
An essential part of any visit to Ireland, this tour circles the magnificent MacGillycuddy Reeks and runs through its many passes and valleys along the shores of Dingle Bay and Kenmare Bay.
The natural beauty of the Ring of Kerry provides many photo opportunities, as it passes through the many picturesque villages such as Glenbeigh, Waterville and Sneem. We return via Ladies View, the famous Lakes of Killarney and through the Oakwoods of Killarney’s magnificent National Park.

- Due to operational reasons it may, on occasion, be necessary to alter certain itineraries.
- Children U16 cannot book independently. They must be accompanied by a parent/guardian at all times.
- WHEELCHAIR POLICY: Our tours are a combination of train and luxury coach and include a moderate level of physical activity, such as short walks to meeting points etc. Unfortunately even the most modern luxury coaches (buses) are not wheelchair friendly, thus our tours are not suitable for those with mobility issues, and regretfully walkers, wheelchairs and mobility scooters cannot be accommodated on our tours.

Check in is 20 minutes prior to the departure time (6:40AM). Our yellow check-in stand is located close to the Customer Service Desk at Heuston Station where our representative will be waiting for you in their BRIGHT yellow jacket!

Breathtaking Views & Travel Made Easy - Breathtaking views made easy by the bus charter! This was a relaxing , easy tour as you are on the road for most of the tour, seeing the landscapes from the window, occasionally hopping on and off for photos and to take in the landscapes.

Great experience - The tour that we had to the ring of Kerry was wonderful. Our tour guide, John Todd, was really helpful. He explained thoroughly and clearly what to expect from the sightseeing, the historical context and gave us information to understand Ireland as a country. The bus part of the tour was a bit rushed some times but it helped that John signalled us throughout the tour where the sites and landmarks were coming up or located so we wouldn’t miss them. Overall, a very pleasant and comfortable experience! Would definitely recommend!

Paddy's the best! - We saw some beautiful country on this tour, but Paddy (our tour guide) is the reason we give it a 5 out of 5. Meeting and spending time with him was one of the best memories made in Ireland. We are thankful for the time.

Great December tour! - Paddy was our awesome guide and we have a great trip! Beautiful sites, cool towns and a small group. Weather was a little dodgy at the end but that can in December in Ireland!

Fantastic day experiencing the Ring of Kerry - My wife and I were lucky enough to embark on the Ring of Kerry tour with our tour guide John. His enthusiasm in relaying information about the sites and stories of Irish culture was infectious. The views from the tour bus were beautiful and the stops were astounding. The trip was 14 hours but it only felt like a fraction of the time due to stunning Irish countryside and the company that shared in the experience. I highly recommend this tour and can not speak highly enough of our thoughtful tour guide.

Beautiful, scenic, but rushed! - The stops we made were beautiful, but we were rushed! The driver was in a hurry and drove much faster than the passenger cars. There were photo opportunities that we missed due to the speed. We were back at Killarney at 3:15. Our train left at 5:40. Eddie, the train guide was great though!

Nice, But Not Great - The experience was good but not great. Spent most of the Ring of Kerry time on the bus. The times we did stop was at some place where they were hitting you up for extra money for something, either Irish Coffee or a sheep dog demo or an incredibly overpriced (albeit tasty) lunch.

Beware , very disappointing! - Disappointed! Highly priced tour for what you get. Beware , once we transitioned from train to bus the bus was already more than 1/2 full as we were merged with another tour. All good seats were taken and we ended up in the back of bus and could not see much and very uncomfortable. Tour company should have disclosed we’d be merging with another tour. Also many short 10 min stops where most time spent entering and exiting the bus for a quick photo. Not what we expected and cannot recommend!
