Highlights
  • Dubrovnik Walks - This is our meeting point, we all gather here, the guide briefly presents him/herself and off we go! 1,5 h tour begins!

Dubrovnik never fails to awe the visitor; its streets paved with white limestone, its walls crowning the city, and its medieval sandstone-colored houses oozing with history.

This 1.5-hour guided walking tour takes you deep into the city’s 1,400-year history, recalling ancient tales when Dubrovnik was one of the world’s most prosperous port cites. It tells tales of war and lets the tour-goer in on the culture of the city.

After meeting in Pile area, in front of Sky bar, begin the journey through history and through Old Town. Pass the Franciscan Monastery and admire Orlando’s Column, a monument on the Stradun inspired by the city’s long-standing freedom and sovereignty. See, too, Onofrio’s Fountain, built in 1438 at the end of a 8-mile (12-km) aqueduct that gave the city its water supply.

The walk also passes by the Rector’s Palace, Sponza Palace and the Cathedral of the Assumption, a baroque church built after the devastating earthquake of 1667.

Strongly recommend - Branko was absolutely amazing. He talks a bit fast so if you're not fluent in English you may miss a few points here and there, but he'll answer questions if you ask. I recommend people to take the tour before going on your own so that you can have context and understanding of the old town and its rich history to fully appreciate your visit. Ask for Branko!

Fabulous Guide, Enlightening Tour, Highly Recommend - Amazing tour by Branko, an amazing guide! We enjoyed every minute of the tour, from the history of the city and the explanations of how the buildings have evolved, to the history of Croatia and the role Dubrovnik played in the was for independence. Branko delivered the information with cheerfulness, good humor, and a detailed and engaging presentation. Despite the heat, Branko kept us in the shade, while also showing us everything. Plus he showed us how refreshing the city water fountains can be! Just excellent! So excellent, we just booked the city wall walking tour in the hopes we’ll have Branko or another fabulous guide. Highly recommend!

A great walking tour! - We found this tour very interesting. We don’t normally do things like this, but we both found it useful. Our guide, Branko, was very knowledgeable, funny and gave lots of great facts about the city. We thought the length was perfect for us (1 hour and 30 minutes) and gave us just what we needed.

Branko was a great guide and made this trip superb fun providing informative commentary on the Old Town and Croatia - This was such a great way to learn about the Old Town, to obtain top tips about what to do and where to eat during your stay in Dubrovnik, and to hear about the ancient & recent history of Croatia. Branko was fun and very informative and was open to provide honest information about the historic and more recent challenges faced by residents. The town itself is incredible and every street and every lane provides breathtaking scenes.
