Highlights
  • Cairo Governorate - Egypt Smile Touring invites you to experience one of the most enchanting tours, offering magical sights and more than just a tour—it’s our expertise. Imagine witnessing the pyramids and life from over 5,000 years ago. Our coordinator will meet travelers at their Cairo or Giza hotels for pickup and drop-off.

  • Great Pyramid of Cheops (Khufu) - Our journey begins at the Giza pyramids, where you’ll see the Great Pyramid, the Second Pyramid, the Third Pyramid, and the Great Sphinx. With our Egyptology expert, explore the Great Pyramid of Giza, the largest Egyptian pyramid and the tomb of Pharaoh Khufu, who ruled during the Fourth Dynasty of the Old Kingdom. Built in the early 26th century BC over about 27 years, it is the oldest of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World and the only one largely intact.

  • Menkaure Pyramid - Next, we visit the third pyramid, the Pyramid of Menkaure, the smallest of the three main pyramids of the Giza pyramid complex. Located on the Giza Plateau in the southwestern outskirts of Cairo, it is believed to be the tomb of the Fourth Dynasty Egyptian Pharaoh Menkaure.

  • Khafre’s Pyramid - We then move to the Second Pyramid, which was likely opened and robbed during the First Intermediate Period. During the Nineteenth Dynasty, the overseer of temple construction took casing stones to build a temple in Heliopolis on the orders of Ramesses II.

  • Great Sphinx - Our next stop is the Great Sphinx of Giza, a limestone statue of a reclining sphinx, a mythical creature with a human head and a lion’s body. Facing directly from west to east, it stands on the Giza Plateau on the west bank of the Nile in Giza, Egypt. The face of the Sphinx is thought to represent Pharaoh Khafre.

  • Memphis - We then visit Memphis, the first capital not only of Egypt but of the world. Here, you’ll see the ruins of Egypt’s first capital and the museum dedicated to the great King Ramesses II. Along with the pyramid fields that stretch over a desert plateau for more than 30 kilometers (19 miles) to the west, including the famous Pyramids of Giza, Memphis and its Necropolis have been listed as a World Heritage Site.

  • Saqqara (Sakkara) Pyramids - Our tour guide will then take us back in time to Saqqara, home to the oldest building and pyramid in the world. Saqqara contains the oldest complete stone building complex known in history, the Pyramid of Djoser, built during the Third Dynasty. Sixteen other Egyptian kings built pyramids at Saqqara, now in various states of preservation. High officials added private funeral monuments to this necropolis throughout the Pharaonic period. It remained an important site for non-royal burials and cult ceremonies for over 3,000 years, well into Ptolemaic and Roman times.

Thank you Taha - We were shown around the Giza Pyramids, mosques, Khan Khalili Market, Egyptian Museum, Saqqara, Dahshur, and Memphis over two days. Our guide, Taha, speaks fluent Japanese! He's a playful and fun guy 💐 He took lots of photos for us and knew a lot of photogenic spots 📷 Since I was alone, he listened to my requests and even took detours for me.
