- Essaouira - After breakfast in your Riad/Hotel we will leave to Essaouira, a small fortified city Formerly known by its old Portuguese name “Mogador”, bathed by the Atlantic and declared Unesco World Heritage Site in 2001 and has traditionally been given names such as The Pearl of the Atlantic.During your time in Essaouira you will have a guided visit of the port, the Scala, the municipal market, jeweler’s quarter and a handicrafts complex. There you can stroll and enjoy the beaches, the walls and the medina. Have lunch then return to Marrakech in the late afternoon.
