Embark on a boat journey to explore the lagoon of Ria Formosa.
The hour-long boat tour is perfect for anyone visiting Faro and has limited time, yet still desires to experience Ria Formosa, one of Portugal’s 7 Natural Wonders.
We will depart from Faro marina on board a comfortable catamaran.
During the exploration of the lagoon area, a variety of feeding waders can be observed, relying on the small organisms residing in the marshes. This excursion navigates through the multiple channels of this safeguarded area, culminating with a mesmerizing view of the Walls of the Old Town of Faro.
This tour is restricted to a small group of 11 people, ensuring a more personable experience.

The Boat was comfortable... - The Boat was comfortable and clean and the captain, Paulo was an excellent and very knowledgeable host and really made it an enjoyable trip.

Perfect short boat trip - Excellent trip; really well organised. Very comfortable boat. Really knowledgeable pilot; friendly, caring - excellent. Perfect quick tour if you don't have much time. And very central. Not crowded (even when full).

Relaxing, tranquil and beautiful tour of one of Algarve's best attractions for avid nature lovers. - We had a great time in Ria Formosa, it was our last day of our holiday so was a great way to end our holiday. From the moment we got on, the captain was extemely knowledgeable and gave us a detailed and interesting view of Ria Formosa, it surroundings, history and of course the species around the nature reserve. We learnt a lot about the nature reserve in this one hour tour.
A great tranquil experience to get a speedy tour of Ria Formosa for those who don't have too much time but want to explore this beautiful place. Highly recommended for nature lovers who want to explore one of Algarve's best attractions. It is a must see for those visting Algarve.

private tour! - We did the 1 hour sunset boat tour and we were pleasantly surprised when we found out no one else had signed up and it was just the three of us so we had a basically private tour!
Richard was our guide and he was amazing, a fellow Canadian like us which was very fun to bond over. We really enjoyed the cruise and had a fantastic time learning about the natural park as well as all the birds and species in the area.

Amazing views of the Ria Formosa, excellent staff highly recommend - Highly, highly recommend this short boat tour. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and made me want to go again!
Special thanks to our AMAZING tour guide Richard who went out of his way to explain everything about Faro to us. We saw flamingoes, egrets and got beautiful views of the parks.
100% recommend and thank you to Formosamar for their excellent service.

Too short to enjoy. - Could have been interesting, but we did not see much. I know we signed up for the short one, but still, it took us 15-20 minutes to board so it did not leave us we a lot of time to explore the lagune on an 1 hour experience.
On the good note, our captain was very savvy and nice.
