The Madu River is located in southern Sri Lanka, near Galle. The river water is dotted with small islands, and its banks are covered entirely with lush mangrove forests that house numerous extraordinary animal species. Revel in the sight of various vibrant tropical birds and a few crocodiles if you’re fortuitous. These creatures are quite rare and prefer solitude over crowds.
