Highlights

Your English speaking driver will meet you straight from the arrival terminal at the airport. As you land and you walk through customs, all you need to do is to collect your bags and walk outside the baggage claim area passing through sliding doors, where you will see many drivers with signs in hand. Just look for your name and off you go. At this point your 6 hour adventure will start.

You will drive towards the city of Rome. During the drive your English speaking driver will start to introduce you the historical background of the city and of course, he will provide you with suggestions on how to best visit and explore Rome and which sites to cover.

Suggested would be after your long flight to go easy on it, by spending a little time at each site, then back on the van and off for more sight-seeing.

Consider that your driver will bring the city to life with fantastic commentary on board and before you physically enter the sites, should you want to check them from closer. He will drive you from place to place so that the walking will be really minimal and because of our permits, we are able to park very close to the sites, this way you will surely have more time for sight-seeing. You will explore the city in full comfort and being a private service it would be only your party. The excursion will be tailored on your major interests.

Colosseum (suggested from the outside) - Circus Maximus - Road of the Temples - view of the Forum - Trefi Fountain and Spanish Steps. Of course more it time allows.

At the end of the driving tour, your driver will lead you to your accommodation, hopefully leaving you with a great flavor of Rome!

Great 1st day in Rome - It was so easy. Easy pick up from the airport and then a phenomenal tour with a super driver/tour guide. He made us feel at home and also provided all the wonderful information on that we were looking for. We love the tour, the tour guide, and also off the path wonderful places in Rome. We loved our lunch in the flower market especially.

Great tour of Rome and Vatican - Massimo was great! We really enjoyed his extensive knowledge of Rome and its history as well as his sharp wit to make things much more interesting. Maria was outstanding taking us through the Vatican. We really have a great time using this company. We will be back !

Wonderful Day - Andrea, our driver/guide was fantastic-easy going, funny and very knowledgeable ! We visited all major sites and many others driving through narrow lanes no bus could use -he is a treasure -we must use again when we come. Bravo to him and Rome Private Excursions!

Our letter to Luca, owner of Rome Private Excursions, upon our return: Dear Luca, We all wanted to thank you for extending the most incredible professionals, not only for our guided tours but for our transfers as well. Antonio of Rome was incredible in pointing out some of the most unique features of his beloved city (truly a treasure to us now as well), which we would never have found on our own. Rome in a Day… but friends for a lifetime. - From the pre-booking communication to the flexibility of customizing the tour to our needs and to the taken care of every little detail Luca made our experience amazing. I asked for a few little things to make the choice special including a custom sign at the train station and flowers for my wife and everything was as requested. Our driver was knowledgeable and friendly and an absolute delight. Our tour guide at the Vatican maximize our limited time there and made sure that we focused on just the important parts of the museum. We only had a short day but feel like both our driver and tour guide could be family. Service was above and beyond and I will absolutely use them again for our future vacations in Rome as one day was not enough

First time to Italy or your 50th time to Rome, Rome Private Excursions is the only way to go! - Having Luca and his team as part of your Italian trip is a "must"! Relax and enjoy and leave all the minor concerns of traveling behind as Luca will make sure everything is taken care of. I have been to Rome and Toscana many times, but this trip certainly opened my eyes to new places, food, alberghi, and experiences I would never have thought of. It is fun to travel freely without a guided group experience, but having Luca customize all of the things you really want to see and do is incredible. First you can relax and not worry about timing, reservations etc and second, he and his team will make sure your every request is met. I highly recommend that you give Luca and Rome Private Excursions a try, no matter if it's your very first time in Italy or perhaps your 50th time! Thanks so much for everything!

First Time In Rome - We Were picked up at the airport by John at 10:30 am, At that moment we said we are ready for everything. He then took us to see al the sites we could possibily can and back to the ship by 5:30. John gave us the history of all the attraction before we arrived. I was excited to see the Colusuem and the Vacatican City. I highly recommend Rome Private excursion. I hired them for 3 days and it was better than traveling by group from the ship

Best Tour Company in Rome - We were absolutely thrilled with all of the services you provided for us. The drivers were prompt and courteous and very well informed. Our entire trip was fantastic, but the services provided by R.P.E. were beyond all of our expectations. You are a 10 but since your scale stops at 5 I'll have to go with that.
