Amazing experience & life time experience - I & 5 other family members recently did EBC Trek with Explore Himalayas. They were the best partners to do this Trek. They were exceptionally helpful side the time we started the booking process. Anuj and his finance team were always proactive in communication and patient in responding to our barrage of questions. Once we reached Katmandu and after our return from the Trek, their ground staff was exceptional. They addressed all our requests. Everything ran super smooth & in time as promised. The Trek itself was beautifully handled. Our guide Ang Dhami & assistant guide Pradeep were the best. Always there for us, taking care of each of our needs, both stated and unstated. Whatever challenges we had, they were there to help us thru them all. At times, when some of us were tired, they even carried out bagpacks. All the accommodations were good and the best that was available in those places. Finally the heroes of the treks were the porters, who made our treks possible. Without them we would not have finished our Trek. Looking forward to doing many more treks with them again! Thank you Anuj & team!

Unforgettable experience which was seamless and incident free. - Explore Himalaya’s team is an extremely professional and highly experienced in providing great experience for EBC treks. In such tedious treks spanning multiple days you would always want to have a trustworthy travel partner who knows the system, environment, challenges well and also are well equipped to deal with any unforseen situations without/with minimal discomfort to their customers. Our experience has been a one to cherish and i must thank Explore Himalaya for taking good care of us. A special mention to our guides Dhami and Pradeep who made all the difference. They were so supportive and always ready to help in any ways to make us comfortable.

Remarkable and unforgettable experience :D - The guides were extremely helpful and kind during the trip, and supported some of our classmates that were lagging behind. When I twisted my leg, one of the porters were carrying my day bag and was extremely encouraging through the arduous trek. The meals cooked by the chef were to say the least amazing and we always had a variety of beverages to choose from. The cook even made a cake for one of our classmate's birthday! The view was gorgeous and the teahouses were clean.

Loved Nepal and trekking in the Himalaya's! - This was a once in a lifetime trip and it was everything I expected and more. Explore Himalaya is an awesome company to work with and I would highly recommend them if you are thinking of trekking in Nepal. They absolutely took care of everything from the moment we arrived at the airport in Kathmandu. Our guide Raju and porter Ram were amazing. Raju was very knowledgeable, kind and polite. He made sure myself and friend hiked a slow, even pace the entire trek to BC to ensure we were successful. The weather was good in Oct and had many sunny photo op days. The views were outstanding everywhere you looked. I thought this would be a one and done vacation, but I would do another trek in Nepal with Explore Himalaya in a heart beat.

Ebc and Kala Patthar..great experience!!! - We did the Everest base camp trek and Kala Patthar in october 2023 and we enjoyed it a lot. We met fantastic people during the trip, such as our guide Gelu, a really courteous and prepared boy that explaned us a lot of great things and story about the mountains and history of the place. We have also to thank the two porters for their great job that they have done. The lodges during the trip were clean and hospitable. We were a bit worry about the weather but fortunatly it was great and never raining.

Highly recommend this Nepalese run company! - This is such an amazing trip, and so well managed. We are 69 year old females who needed a little extra attention but with the guidance of Raju we made it to base camp and back on time! Our guide Raju has such an excellent knowledge in the mountains. He obviously has had years of guiding experience while showing sensitivity to our concerns. His porter Ram was prompt, courteous and always respectful. Both are a tremendous asset to Explore Himalaya!

Spectacular Trek With 3 Grandsons - Our 3 university-age grandsons and I (78-yr-old grampa) took a private trek with Bal Kumar Tamang and Sabin Khadka in May/June of 2023. Our porters were Tek and Som. We trekked about 40+ miles from Lukla Airport to Everest Base Camp EBC). Bal was lead guide and Sabin got his Lead Guide certification soon after our trip. Tek and Som each carried two of our four duffle bags every day. I worried about weather because we were at the close of the trekking season and at the beginning of the monsoon season. But ... our weather was spectacular. We had drizzle on the 2nd day and then usually clear days following. We celebrated at EBC, left some small stones etched with our names that our daughter had given us, and took the helicopter back to Lukla. Bal and Sabin know their stuff and led us up and down every day. I say "down" because the trek is not a steady up to EBC. We had lots of downs into valleys - and then the resultant repeated "ups" that meant our total elevation gain was far more than the difference in elevation between Lukla and EBC! Our two main goals were "success" and "safety" and we met them both. I was the oldest person Explore Himalayas had taken to EBC. Bal and Sabin set excellent pacing each day, widened our understanding of the wonderful country and the Everest area, and quickly became our friends. They demonstrated their skill, knowledge, easy relationships, and humor. I have one lament. The last day planned for an early morning trek up Kala Patthar at 18,192' for the sunrise and great vistas. Our trek to/from EBC made for a fatiguing day and we elected NOT to get up early for another 6-8 hr trek. In retrospect, that was a mistake and I hope Bal and Sabin and other guides will recommend NOT deciding that option on the basis of day-before fatigue at high altitude. I cannot compare Explore Himalayas to the other trekking companies, of course. I can - and do - give them an "A" for their excellence.
