  • Must I have cycle experience?Yes, it is a must that you have cycle experience and that you are be able to cycle in traffic in your own environment in a safe way. You have to got a basic balance on the bicycle and easily can make starts and stops.
  • Will the tour continue when it rains? The bike tours always do. A rain shower is nothing unusual in an Asian country. There is also a daily rain shower in Kuala Lumpur. You can get wet… It is very refreshing!
  • Do I have to wear a helmet? No, wearing a helmet is not obligatory. We strongly recommend doing so.
  • Isn’t it too hot to cycle in Kuala Lumpur? No, biking provides a light breeze to cool you off. We always cycle at a quiet pace. This gives our bike tours a relaxing character. Furthermore, we have plenty of rest periods on the way, so you can be sure that body and mind can enjoy the many fascinating sights. At the start of the tour you will receive a bottle of water.
  • What clothes do I wear during the tour? We visit a temple, so clothing that covers knees and shoulders is appreciated. We also recommend: Wear light, comfortable clothes with a hat or cap to protect the head from the sun. With shoes or fixed sandals you have the best control over the bike, so no slippers. Sunscreen is a must. You get an safety vest, which you are obliged to wear during the tour.
  • Which language is spoken by the guides? The tour conducted only in English
  • Is it safe to cycle? Yes, it is safe to cycle. There are many motor cyclists and cars and it is reasonably ordered for an Asian city. They take into account cyclists.

Fun and informative - Our family of 6 really enjoyed this tour. Salle and Arpit were very enthusiastic and entertaining. It’s a great way to see all the sights and you get a good feel for the city. Despite the busy streets, we felt safe as they were very organised and assertive with traffic management.

Highly recommend Mikes Bikes but book through their own website……€40 cheaper than Trip Advisor - Wonderful experience with our tour guide Andrew. He had such knowledge about the history and culture of Malaysia. So enjoyable stopping at the markets and trying the traditional fruits and also stopping along the way for traditional foods.

KL Mike Bike tour with Andrew - We had an unforgettable bike tour including brunch in Kuala Lumpur with guide Andrew, from MikeBikes. Andrew's in-depth knowledge of the city's history and his enthusiasm made the tour exceptional. The route took us to Kampong Bharu, the old rustic Malay Village. We went to Chow Kit market and tasted some local fresh foods. We also visited iconic landmarks like the Petronas Twin Towers and Merdeka Square, as well as hidden gems off the beaten path. The bikes provided were comfortable and well-maintained, ensuring a smooth ride throughout the tour. Andrew's personalized attention to our interests and his recommendations for local food made the experience even more special. I highly recommend this bike tour to anyone visiting Kuala Lumpur who wants to explore op the city with a passionate and knowledgeable guide like Andrew.

The Best of KL Classic - Excellent way to explore many highlights of KL and learn background (history, religions & food) of the city. Well explained by our tour guide Andrew. We stopped at a local restaurant for an excellent brunch (included). Simply loved it. Brand new comfortable bikes. Also our teenage kids loved the tour. Safely through traffic.

Sunset tour - A truly great way to see KL! During a four hour ride on good and comfortable bikes you experience different areas of KL, old and new and you get a nice local meal as well. The guides, Felix and Joseph are very enthousiastic and know there city very well. They look very well after your safety , where there are no bicycle lanes they use their whistles to stop the traffic, with success. Start by day light and slowly cycle your way into the hustle and the bustle of the night.
