Great cooking class! - This was the highlight of my trip to KL! Absolutely loved this cooking class, everything was perfectly arranged and the food we prepared was delicious! The driver picked us up at our hotel in time and we went to a wet market to meet our chefs and have breakfast. Irene and Zeera were expecting us at the market and gave us a nice tour of the main stalls, showing and explaining the main spices and ingredients use in Malaysian kitchens. Breakfast consisted in a freshly made roti canai and Teh tarik (hot and strong milk tea), both very good! We then went to the beautiful cooking school (typical wooden Malaysian house surrounded by nature) to meet Ana, our cooking Chef teacher for the day! Ana was spectacular and the cooking class truly hands on. She made us feel comfortable and explained not only how to cook delicious food (we made 3 dishes) but also incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this experience, thank you Ana, Irene and Zeera for a beautiful day!

Book elsewhere - Do not book via this site. They charge you double for the experience, find the company who's actually hosting the activity and book direct from them. The cooking class I did was literally double the cost, and through the actual operator there was a market visit we missed out on, and the "free pickup" was not organised properly (they told driver to pickup at 9:30am which is when class started, and it took 45min to get there! Luckily I requested the driver who messaged me the day prior to rather pick us up at 9am) So we paid double the price and missed out on the market visit, and was 15minutes late for the class. The actual cooking class was good, so I'd recommend finding the operator and going directly with them. I won't list the operator name in case this review is deleted as a result of me naming them.
