Illuminating - Seeing the grotto and hearing about the entire history. Bernadette’s family background and her trials and tribulations gave me an insight in what this girl experienced. Our guide - Joseph - gave a in-depth description of every aspect of the miracles that occurred

Joseph is a great guide, very kind and knowledgeable! - Great tour, Joseph was very knowledgeable and kid and waited for us for over two hours while we waited to go in the baths. Supposedly it’s usually only a 45 minute/1 hour wait! So the tour may be a little longer than you anticipate depending on the number of people there. He waited and then took as around to many of the other placed around the grounds and gave us a lot of interesting recommendations.

Very interesting tour guide was good - Very good seen the crupt which I never seen before Very interesting also was advised to go to the English Mass at 11 am which I did and to the sacrament of the sick at 5pm which I liked

It was a very good tour... - It was a very good tour and the guide was excellent.
However I think that there needs to be better communication.
I prepaid for a 10:00 tour and had to switch to the 2:00 P. M. tour because of your schedule. I prepaid but the guide thought I was going to pay after the tour and I had no money on me. Also my name was not on the list for the 2:00 P. M. Tour after the time change.
That’s why it’s 4 stars instead of 5.

A little Disappointing - I booked an English tour but the guide tried to accommodate the one French speaker in our group. This cut into our time. Also we spent approximately 40minutes of the 2 hour tour waiting in a line up. I had booked the tour to avoid that.

A promising tour ends abruptly - The tour guide was a soft-spoken man who seemed ill with people. He never confirmed that myself or others were in the tour, and he never made any personal contact with me. When he began the tour he would start by speaking as we moved, backing up, but then he would turn around, and someone would engage him, and then he spoke to them directly, in audible to the rest of us. He never counted participants to confirm that we were all with him.
At one point, I stopped to take pictures of the cathedral (one minute) and suddenly my tour was gone! This was probably at about the 45 to 50 minute point in the tour. I searched quickly in several directions, but could not identify my group. Sadly I broke off my search and left the tour.

Disrespectful guide - Our guide was extremely rude with our group with no consideration on two seniors over 80 years old in need of enough time to get the wheelchairs needed. In addition was very disrespectful with my wife to the point we had to leave the tour almost at the beginning. His name is Joseph and I will be asking for a formal apology from Viator.
