Wonderful experience - I travelled alone with my two girls aged 11 and 12. We had a fantastic time. Very well organised and we enjoyed every moment. Two thumbs ups!

Tailor-made excursion! - Our driver, Hicham Eddih, managed this outing to perfection, good timing, little comments on the road with a stop at an argan oil cooperative, very good driving. The visit to Essaouira is very enjoyable with very respectful traders. To recommend !

Nice experience - If you are after a return trip to Essaouira from Marrakech this is a great option. Enjoyed 4 hours in Essaouira!

Great day out - Great trip, does exactly as it says. Basically a 3 hour drive (with 2 stops along the way for the toilet/cafe and then the Argan oil cooperative - we only stayed for around 20/30 mins though). Had 4 hours free time in Essaouira which is lovely, and then the drive back to Marrakesh with one toilet stop on the way. Arrived back at 7pm. Only thing is if you are staying in the medina (which most of our group were), they will not pick you up from your riad/hotel as stated in the advert - we all just had to meet in the main square, which for us was still quite far to get to at 8am! For other excursions we were picked up at the gate closest to our riad, so maybe this is something they could consider doing.

Great - On the three-hour drive there, you have a stop at a motorway rest area to do your business and have breakfast. Then you have a stop at an argan cooperative run by women with a short guided tour. There are also toilets. Then you have three hours of free time in Essaouira, time flies because you eat lunch there if you wish. The town is airy and beautiful and the beach is huge. Another hour would be more comfortable. The organization is good.

Not worth it - It is too far from Marakech and it took 3 hours each way to get there. There was nothing special about the place that we could not find in Marakech. The bus was old and it felt like riding a carriage. So much shake and noise in the vehicle. The AC was not able to cool the temperature inside the car and it was very unpleasant

Explorative - Sightseeing...but the departure from Essaouira back to Marrakech should be 1-2 hours later.. Nice trip!

Trap of argan oil cooperatives on the road to Essaouira - Arrivals at Marrakech airport, a taxi took us to Essaouira; On the way he absolutely wanted to take a toilet break. We refused but he stopped as if by chance in front of an argan oil cooperative. We went to see and stupidly bought oil and soaps at a prohibitive price! When we attempted to stop at the viewpoint with two camels waiting for us, we didn't get out of the car and demanded to go to the hotel.
