Your journey will begin at the upper end near Canal st and conclude at the oldest bar in America, serving patrons since 1732. Midway, we’ll pause for a taste of Louisiana’s official state doughnut and a cup of the popular Big Easy style coffee with chicory.

Get engrossed in stories and anecdotes about the city’s most celebrated cocktails and learn which one was even preferred by founding father, Benjamin Franklin. You’ll gain insights into the beginnings of Bourbon st in the 18th century with the French royal family’s influence. As you progress down the street, you’ll learn about the transformation brought on by the influx of sailors in the 1940s and the local popularity of its burlesque performers in the 1950s and 60s, along with their interactions with infamous politicians & mobsters of the era.

Don't miss this tour! - Tim is a true one-of-a-kind character, and I mean that in the best possible way! His knowledge is broad and his energy and passion for New Orleans and history in general is infectious. He knows all the spots and stories. If you only do do one thing on your visit to New Orleans, make it this tour. We had such a good time.
