Perfect! - 本当にすごいですよ。必要なものです。 We rented a Pocket WiFi from Ninja WiFi on both of our trips to Japan (via the Haneda Office) and it worked flawlessly each time. I would honestly say that this it's an essential purchase especially if you need Internet access on more than one device. We had two iPads, an iPhone and an Android phone using it constantly and it never once failed. Obviously if you are using it all day away from a charging point you should take a USB Powerbank as the battery might not get you through the whole day if it's being used constantly but these are so cheap to buy it's hardly an issue. Looks like this is a free service now so that's even better. The staff were helpful and friendly and were always very patient with my awful Japanese どうもありがとうございます。 The only tiny negative (and it's not Ninja WiFi's fault) is that I booked it through the JRPass.com site and a day's rental is morning to night NOT morning to next morning. As a result we booked it for a day less than we needed. However we got a free extension from JRPass.com and Ninja WiFi were very understanding. Just worth watching out for. Thoroughly recommended and we'll definitely book one again on our next visit. 何卒宜しくお願いします。

Ninja WiFi was perfect for our whole trip! - Booked Ninja WiFi online the day before we flew out to Haneda, Tokyo. Picked it up at the airport on arrival, friendly staff connected both our phones (you can connect up to 10 devices) to the router there and then and we were away with 5 mins. The service lasted the entire two weeks without a single loss of signal meaning we were able to access all our data throughout the whole trip across Japan, simply perfect, wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone travelling to Japan.

Perfect - We been travelling in 5 of us I am a pokemon crazy and I have 3 daughter. We been using internet heavily and with the exception of the first day that after 3gb did slow down the speed the rest of days I didn't have any problems. One day I use up 8gb. I do recommend this product

Totally recommend, but... - Can I rate a 4.5? Pick up went smoothly from Haneda. I was traveling with two other people and we all hooked up to the wifi easily. We had a strong signal pretty much the entire time, with service only dropping while hiking along Nakasendo (totally reasonable and way better than I expected). Device would generally last from 7am to 5pm or so before charging, not too shabby. Knocking off a point because we purchased the unlimited plan, but the service choked our usage at 3GB pretty much every day. You can get by on 3GB for sure, but know that it's not unlimited as advertised.

Recommended - It's an ongoing experience but we've been using the Ninja router for 3 days now with no problems whatsoever. The device we got has enough battery for the whole day so no need to charge it. The only drawback (irrelevant to the product) is the customer service during pickup at Haneda airport. Our airline changed our departure date and we showed up a day early to pickup. They couldn't find our reservation!

Poor speeds - I’m pulling 8MBPS when only 1 device in use, in urban areas with good cell tower coverage. Absolutely unacceptable. It takes me 5 minutes to send a 15-second video. This is 2024, not 2004.

Defective device , waiting for reimbursement - I rented a device from Ninja; the line to pick it up was super long in the morning. They should open earlier than 630 am. They cannot find your reservation by name, so be prepared. (you need to have the reservation number). You cannot open your email because the Haneda Airport Wifi does not work in their corner of the building. At least the lady at the counter allowed me to enter their wifi and retrieve my email with the reservation number. I found out later that the device was defective, and I immediately called them, but I could not get a replacement device because they said they could not deliver to my hotel before my departure and they did not deliver to my destination (Hokkaido) either. I am now in the process of trying to get a reimbursement. If I get a reimbursement, I will change my rating.

Unnecessary inconveniences - Our flight was delayed an hour and a half, the driver did not speak English and was upset, the manager constantly sent us text messages saying that he would charge us more, it was a bad time since we spent two days to arrive and we found this. I don't recommend it, it's better to take a taxi and avoid these inconveniences
