After lunch, we’ll move onto Cefalù for a village visit and free time for shopping. Return to your hotel in Palermo at 17:00, a journey of approximately one hour.

Enjoyable tour! - We first went to Castelbuono. It was a peaceful little town, beautiful and full of life and history. Next we went to Cefalu, had a great lunch. It's a beautiful seaside resort. We walked around, took a bunch of photos and had an enjoyable time in April, I can imagine if it was summer. Our driver was great, informative and educational.

Absolutely worth it! - Umberto picked us up from our hotel right on time and was an incredible host for the day. We actually ended up going to Cefalu first and then he suggested we go to Monreale instead of Castelbuono which we were grateful for because it was incredible! He walked us through the entire town of Cefalu telling us all about the history and spoke great English. This was so worth it to us, a private tour is the way to go! We were picked up at 8:30am and dropped back off at 5pm.

Excellence in Cefalu - First class! Cristian was wonderful , patient, and accommodating. Gorgeous sites. Calm, easy going pace. Try the TAIÀNU pasta in Cefalù. Perfecto ! Also, the local Rossa wine with ‘gas’ 3/4 , 1/4!

WONDERFUL TOUR TO BEAUTIFUL TOWNS - We had an absolutely wonderful tour in Castelbuono and Cefalu!! Both towns were incredibly beautiful and our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable! He showed us the history in Castelbuono as well as point us in the direction of a wonderful local cheese tasting as well as a sweet bread tasting in this town before touring the castle and it’s incredible history. We then went to Cefalu a beautiful beach town where we had free time to explore, shop and enjoy lunch on the beach. The ride was smooth and cool in the air conditioned van. Our guide even provided us with authentic Italian recipes to share with our families when we return to the U.S. I highly recommend this tour as we thoroughly enjoyed it and it was the highlight of our Palermo trip.

Great way to see nearby towns of Palermo - We learned so much from Salvatore and he was an exceptional guide! Honestly don't think we would have learned as much as we did about Sicily or the monuments we were exploring. If it wasn't as hot, may have wanted more time on the beach, but at 40+ degrees celsius, it was nice just see the town.

Cefalù Sicily is a fantastic destination. - Expensive taxi ride when you consider there wasn’t a guide along. The taxi driver was not a tour guide, but he was a great taxi driver.
