White faced monkeys - This is a great way to cross off a few key sites and I really enjoyed this tour. I was collected from my hotel at around 7am and was back around 11:30am. Our tour guide Alonso was very good. One of the things this crosses off is you get to say you were on the Panama Canal (lake Gatun) and you get to see some of the ships go y on the tour (it’s an impressive site). However the main attraction as highlight of the tour was to see the local wildlife, in particular the monkeys up close and in the case of the white faced monkeys to feed them. I throughly enjoyed this and also been on the lake. Doing the morning tour also meant I had the afternoon to enjoy exploring the city and I would note they were very accommodating in dropping some passengers off at locations other than their hotel on the way back

A MUST DO activity in Panama. Almiza Tours are the best!!! - The tour was amazing. Mario was very knowledgeable and patient with us, especially because we were traveling with a baby. Juliet really is the monkey whisperer! We saw so many monkeys, we saw iguanas, birds. We got to see quite a few but ships that had just passed through the canal. We got so many beautiful photos and memories! Definitely recommend this to everyone. Transfers went smoothly and the rides were comfortable.

Amazing experience! - This was the second time I took this tour, the first one with my husband last year and now with my parents. My husband also took his parents to this same tour in 2023. All the experiences were really great!! The tour guides know a lot about the area and the animals, the pick up/drop off is at the hotel and length of the tour is ideal. The best tour guide is Juliet, the "monkey enchanter", if you go with her it is certain to see all 3 kinds of monkeys and other animals too! Highly recommend!!!

Unavoidable activity - Completely amazing experience! We stayed early in the morning and the atmosphere was calm and the monkeys were adorable! The Guide is kind and tells us lots of interesting facts about the nature and history of the canal! My favorite activity of the trip!

Amazing - Amazing experience! Daniel was a wonderful and informative guide, as well as Julie the “monkey whisperer”. The Capuchin monkeys climbing onto the boat was my favorite part!

Great way to spend half a day in Panama City area - The tour was fantastic. Prompt pick up at hotel, guide was very knowledgeable and funny. Made sure everyone on the tour was able to get a firsthand account with each species of monkey and also other animals that live within Gatun Lake. I would highly recommend.

Wonderful way to experience the Panama Canal - We just got back from an absolutely wonderful tour. They picked us up at our hotel and took us to a spot right in the middle of Lake Gatun, where we spent over an hour riding along side giant container vessels, seeing all types or wildlife and, yes, seeing lots of monkeys. We booked it yesterday and it was super easy and a great value. Highly recommend!

Grateful for a bra experience - Great tour guides and a relaxing and exciting exploration of the jungle by boat! So many monkeys, blue iguanas, birds, and beautiful plants to check out!
