Highlights
  • Louvre Museum - Meet your guide at the Louvre’s famous glass pyramid in the morning. With your skip-the-line ticket, bypass the notoriously long entrance queues and head straight inside for your private 2-hour tour.

One of the largest palaces in the world, the Louvre’s five floors and endless stream of corridors are packed full of fascinating world heritage including the Egyptian kings and queens, Roman conquerors, Eastern antiquity and modern Western works. Tackling the Louvre solo can be a daunting prospect, but you’ll navigate with ease alongside your expert guide, who’ll take you to the museum’s most famous pieces and lesser-known gems. Admire pieces by luminaries such as Raphael, Delacroix and da Vinci, and gaze in awe over the Mona Lisa, The Raft of the Medusa, Venus de Milo and other legendary works throughout the centuries.

  • Musee d’Orsay - After a break and 10-minute stroll over the Seine River to the Musée d’Orsay. Housed inside a stunning 19th-century Beaux-Arts building, the Musée d’Orsay houses the finest collection of Impressionist and post–Impressionist masterpieces in the world, with more than 4,000 works on display throughout the hallowed galleries. Masters van Gogh, Monet, Renoir, Degas and Rodin are particularly well-represented.

Bypass the lines and head inside for your 2-hour private tour. Begin with bold French painters such as Manet, Renoir, Cézanne and Gauguin, who bucked tradition to pave the way for the modern Impressionist movement. Discover their styles and techniques, then move on to explore famous works by Eugène, Boudin and Monet, some of the first artists to embrace modern paint technologies and take their easels out into the open air and capture the light sur scène.

Listen as your guide explains the intricacies of the works on display, and gain insight into the skills employed by these masters. At the end of your tour, you can continue perusing the museum at your leisure.

Great museum tours for a rainy Paris day - Incredible experience for a rainy day in Paris with our phenomenal tour guide Florent! He was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the artworks and architecture, and personable with recommendations for a quick lunch between museum tours. We could not have asked for a better guide! He was also communicative via phone when our group and another were running a little late, due to the high demand for Ubers/taxis in the morning.

Awesome artful experience - Hugo was the best guide imaginable. It was like taking a condensed—highly entertaining—course in art history from a genuine local expert. Cannot be more grateful. When we come back we will call Hugo.

Guide Emma was GREAT😃😃😃 - Emma our guide was GREAT! She was very knowledgable about both museums and artwork, set a pace that we could do (we were mobility challenged) and took enough breaks that we were comfortable! Even though we only had a limited amount of time, we enjoyed the tour!
