He was also frank and to the point on the whole history of Pompeii and his delivery of the tour was brilliant. A good experience - The location to meet was a little hit and miss, as Leonardo's sign wasnt that clear. (maybe a whatsapp communication would have saved some stress) Apart from that little hitch it went well. Got all the inforamtion plus more! a good two hour experience which was certainly enough time. Italo made our visit so much better - Italo was a fabulous guide for an English language tour of Pompeii. He was knowledgeable, funny, knew what sections to avoid and what to include, and gave us so much context around what we were seeing. Definitely he made the trip a much better experience!!!

Take the tour! - Wonderful tour and tour guide. Elo (Michael Angelo) was knowledgeable, patient and funny! We were undecided on a visit to Pompei but decided at the last minute to take a tour. Well worth it. Not sure we would have covered as much history and seen as much had we simply wandered around ourselves.

Best tour ever! - My family and I had the best experience in Pompeii (2 kids aged 12 & 17). The archeological site was stunning, but what made the tour exceptional was our guide Lollo. He was charismatic, engaging and extremely knowledgeable. It felt like we had our own private professor with us every step of the way. He also kept the kids engaged by asking questions and joking around. He made it the best tour we have every been on.

Worth the money - Lots of information- really made the trip enjoyable. A small child on tour - guide involved her without it impacting on of the adults not linked to that party. Would highly recommend

This tour was well worth the cost and we enjoyed learning so much from our wonderful guide! - Our guide was incredibly knowledgable about Pompeii, including the history and archeological study of the site. He took care to adjust the tour to allow for us to best view each location within Pompeii.
