Beautiful Hike - Must see - This was such a pleasant hike. Diogo was a great guide. He was patient with us when we had some nerves about parts of the hike. He made good conversation. He was on time. Overall a wonderful experience.

You definitely want to do this!! - So much more than just a hike! Dani have us in depth insight into the history and culture of Sao Miguel on the drive to the hiking spot and then we took a different route home to see and learn even more. The hike was fantastic! It was very lush and we got to not only visit the waterfall, but an abandoned village that is starting renovations. Easy hike in my opinion, but I’m a big hiker. No one in our group struggled with it, but it was a nice little work out.

Awesome Hike, Great Guide! - Our group loved this hike! The area is absolutely beautiful, the waterfall breathtaking and views from the abandoned city incredible. Our guide Diogo was great on this hike and all the day trips we did with him! It's obvious he loves what he does. He was not only knowledgeable about the history of the area but the local flora and funa as well. I definitely recommend this hike and Diogo as a guide!

Sanguinho will make you forget all your troubles - Dani is an excellent guide. She can tell you about all the other islands and what to do on each island. They are all worth a visit. She looks after the group effortlessly. This is a challenging, technical hike. Steep slopes with wet cobble stones, you will need your poles to dig in. You don't need to be a strong hiker but you do need to be careful on the descents. You will see a pretty waterfall and an abandoned village. You will have to do the tour to find out why the village is abandoned.

Must do hike - Amazing hike in the region of Faial da Terra! Our guide Diogo was very nice, funny, accommodating to our needs and he taught us a lot of facts avout the region. He even took pictures of the group and sent them to us after the activity! I highly recommend this trip (and our guide Diogo!). Amazing views, animals on the way, nice swim in the waterfall. Don't forget your bathing suit! Really enjoyed my day, thanks!! :)

Walking tour with fantastic guide! - We did the sanguinho tour with a fantastic guide called Thiago! My son of nine loved him. Some good climbs but as a reward you can swim right into the waterfall (very cold water). We also visited sanguinho, abandonned village. Thanks Thiago, you were ‘amazing’.

Nice tour and knowledgeable guide - Nice tour and knowledgeable guide, Diego. Besides being fun and talkative, which is important for a guide to make the group cohesive, he was solicitous and always careful about the group's needs and I feel I've learned a great many things from him. Elizabeth
