Dolphins and a whale! - What a great experience! The skipper and marine biologists were exceptional which gave us the opportunity to see hundreds of dolphins and even a humpback whale. The dolphins were on both sides of the boat with many young ones with their mothers. The boat ride was adventurous as it is powerful and fast! The waves would spray water onto us but the tour includes wet gear. The perfect morning experience!

Good Experience, lovely Dolfins, and a great Guide! - The guide was great, start was about an hour after we were told to meet up. Procedings were swift and the path quite clear communicated. Time til lunch was spent whale watching and after lunch the tour was moved to the snorkeling. 2 hours of that on the lovely volcano caldera and we got picked up for our return to PD.

Great day out snorkelling & whale watching - Great day out spotting whales & dolphins, delicious lunch and snorkelling in an unreal location. Our marine biologist guide was also v friendly & full of information. You have to be lucky with what you see out there, but it was incredible. Recommend!

Awesome tour! - This was an absolutely fabulous tour by Pico de Adventure. we departed in a Zodiac boat with 22 other people - felt safe the entire time. With our captain and tour guide we were able to spot 3 types of dolphins and sperm whales. After a nice lunch, we took the ferry to go snorkeling at the islet which was amazing! There were so many different types of fish to see. Would definitely recommend this.

INCREDIBLE!!! - I can only say how great, the visit was perfect, we saw many dolphins and of different kinds, we went to the islet to swim and it was incredible, the boat ride was also very cool, they left us with all the necessary material, if you want they will give you a raincoat , glasses and snorkel tube. The monitors explain everything very well, if you have questions they clarify them further, they are very attentive and friendly!! The only thing I would say bad is about the food, as soon as we arrived they told us if we wanted soup, I didn't want it and I thought they would give me another starter, I was waiting, I asked and in the end, to my surprise they didn't give me another option, if I would have known before, I would have had the soup, which was really good (I took some from my partner), then on top of that, the same thing happens to me with the dessert, well, not the same, it's that they only offered us cheesecake, I said that I didn't want to (because I don't like it) and I asked them again if they had anything else, they said no, so it's good to have one less dish... I could only eat the second dish (this one if they let you choose between chicken, fish or a vegetarian option). As it is an activity with several people, I think they should warn that there is only one option for the first and dessert, not leave people waiting, if they warned this before it would be better, the truth is, as a suggestion I would recommend that they give the option of choose between 2 or 3 dishes, since it cannot be that there are no food options, and if you don't like something, you don't eat... In the end, the food is the least important of the entire activity, so I RECOMMEND it 100% because I really think it was the best day ever, it's amazing!!

Excellent experience - Great! We saw common dolphins and Riso dolphins... It's a shame we didn't see any whales... Next time! It ended in beauty with a swim in the lagoon of Ilhéu de Vila Franca do Campo. I recommend!

Fantastic - Our marine biologist Soraya gave us a great day. Spotted 3 sperm whales, 1 of which gave a show lasting 10 minutes. Beautiful. The spotters did a good job and did so in an ethically responsible manner. We also came across a family of 50 dolphins twice and we also got a gigantic show Snorkeling in the crater of Ilha Franca is also a dream. Essential - A fantastic day and an unforgettable experience. The instructors were very attentive, the food was good and there was enough time on the island and the preparation was great, we saw several kinds of dolphins. 100% recommended

Exiting day at the sea - We had a very nice day and saw lots of dolphins. Unfortunately there was no whales to see that day. The waves got at the end too high for a safe sailing, we got troubles with the boat and had to be rescued to a larger boat. Exciting day. The people from Picos de adventura handled the situation very good and no one got hurd Birgitte and Michael, Denmark

Average - The weather was threatening and the guides took us really far out , away from the coast. On the way back, we were all pelted by the waves and cold. It seemed they were filling the time, instead of paying attention to the guests.
