Highly Recommend - Amazing! Great photo shoot chances. Beautiful landscape, super tunnel. Glacier truck is a huge old missile carrier that drives the ice now with huge tires. Good for friends or family with little ones who can ride in the sled

Incredible experience. Worth the money - Best experience from the trip. Enjoyed by adults and teenagers. Our guide Marta was really nice and knowledgeable. The view was stunning at the top. Incredible experience. You also get lots of time to take pics. Groups are small. Best recommend to book the first trip as it's really cool to see them dig the way into the glacier in the morning. Also best on a sunny day. Warm clothes and shoes as the wind is freezing up there. Waterproof clothes in summer as water drips from the glacier. Also manageable for someone claustrophobic.

Great experience with nice guide Rebecca - We drove from the starting point to the glacier in the super truck. It was quite an adventure. During the drive up, our guide Rebecca explained a lot. Exciting and interesting things. Once we arrived, we went into the ice cave. It was fantastic for us. Rebecca also explained a lot during the tour through the cave and answered all of our questions really well. We had many opportunities to climb into the ice off-road. Recommended

Fantastic trip into the glacier, a must see! - Oh my word, what a fantastic day!! We visited on 24th March in the afternoon, the weather was fab so obviously it added to the experience, but we all had the time of our lives and loved every minute of this trip!! Before starting we were chatting to our fabulous and friendly driver who gave us loads of info and great tips. Then Ryan our guide got us into the huge truck, with wheels as big as us nearly, it had great big windows to see all the gorgeous views! The ride in the truck was as much fun as the tour, Ryan had us laughing loads and gave us interesting information about the mountains, area, folk tales and glacier. The driver stopped and let us all out onto the glacier for around 15 minutes. We got some great photos, saw amazing views, had a snowball fight😂 and saw the markers for where the glacier used to come to. Inside the glacier was great, seeing the volcanic lines from previous eruptions in the ice was amazing and a personal highlight! Some very interesting things to see, all brilliantly explained with great humour added too, but I won't spoil it, you'll have to see for yourselves Seriously, it was everything I hoped for and even more!! Into the glacier trip was absolutely the highlight of our holiday to Iceland, my teenagers still talk about how brilliant it was! We absolutely loved it, thank you so much to the lovely driver and guide, for giving us the best day! #ITGmoments Ps. My husband wants the drivers fabulous jumper🤣

Glacier Cave Exploration - Well this was something different! We usually are in the Caribbean this time of year and so to climb a glacier in a monster truck then enter into the glacier caves was such an incredible activity. The guides are extremely knowledgeable, professional and helpful in all aspects of the journey. Kiddi was behind the wheel and maneuvered us safely to the top of the glacier. I owe him a special thank you hoping he reads this. Let’s just say he really went above and beyond for my comfort. Marta was our information guide sharing the history, and current conditions of the glacier as we meandered through. This was such a spiritual experience and cannot thank them enough

Surprisingly good - We signed up for this thinking it would be just ok and we were pleasantly surprised. The tour is well organized, the guides were fun and the whole visit was quite the adventure. Be prepared with warm gear but they give you jackets pants and booties so no need to pack rain gear. Trip was 4 hours long.

Fun Day - All the guides were knowledgeable, friendly and polite. They made the day fun. We were extremely lucky to have clear skies by the time we reached the glacier; stunning! I have to admit for me the best part was being outside on the glacier. Me, being who I am, should have known that a man-made tunnel, although interesting and weird to be inside the glacier, I would have preffered to have gone to a natural ice cave. That said, fun day thanks to our guides.

Going inside of the ice cave was an incredible experience. Our teenagers absolutely loved it and want to go again! Thank you for a fantastic tour!

Great Experience - It was a great day overall. The drive to Husafell is easy enough (although dark). The experience is unique - being on a glacier and going into an ice cave. The cave itself is cool but the experience is a bit drawn out to fill the time. More information about the glacier, its development an some science would be better while in the cave. The ride to the glacier in the Snow Monster is an experience in itself. One guide, Nikolai, was fantastic. Overall, we loved it. Dress in layers and wear good boots.

One-of-a-kind adventure - What an adventure! This was not your average pleasure cruise. It's an immersive, and at times nerve-wracking, expedition. The journey from Husafell up to the cave takes about an hour each direction, and the scenery is stunning (right up until you hit the white-out conditions above the snow level). Then it's a little terrifying. But you're in excellent hands. The cave itself has an unearthly beauty, and our guide Bergur was full of fun facts and stories about glaciers, climate change, and Icelandic folklore in general. Small dings for the tour starting nearly an hour late and for the other guide declining to use the vehicle's sound system to provide commentary. Bonus points to the guides for providing parenting to the unruly kids of a disengaged, wealthy millennial who was way more concerned about the crampons distressing her Manolo Blahnik's than the safety of her kids.
