Amazing excursion to the Landmannalaugar - We took this excursion at the last minute because we had a cancellation 24 hours before on another platform, but it was the best thing that could have happened to us. The experience was excellent, our guide Karol was very friendly, interesting and funny, and introduced us to breathtaking landscapes. Some roads to access the waterfalls were cut so he took us to other, even more incredible points. One of the best experiences we had in Iceland. I can only recommend with my eyes closed.

Amazing tour - The places were worth the long trip and it was a pleasure to be guided by Alain (please get in touch!). A problem with the car engine slowed us down a little bit and we weren't be able to see the crater lake, but, except from that, I will do it all over again!

Landmannalaugar, Haifoss, and more! (Kudos to Bus Travel Iceland the Tour Group!) - The Haifoss waterfall was everything and more that I hoped for. The 90 min hike in Landmannalaugar was fabulous… we experienced 3 seasons during the hike :). Our tour guide “HBO” was terrific! Very informative about the sites we visited, the history of Iceland’s settlement and geology. And I was totally glad he was driving given the F road conditions!! Please note, I do not hand out high praise readily, but this is well deserved!

If you have only 1 DAY in Iceland, then DO THIS tour - If you have only 1 day in Iceland, then do THIS one. This is a long tour, about 14 hrs. Our guide is a traveler, knowledgeable and have a good sense of humor. The hiking is about 1.5 hr, manageable for a fit 60 year old. The view, all the way, was spectacular; also a vast area looks no-man’s-land, which was used for training and filming of Apollo 11 moon landing. I instantly thought it was Mars!! At the end of the hiking, everyone went to soak in the hot spring river at the site. On way back, we also went to see a not-too-old crater, complete deep blue stillness. Then a spectacular waterfall of over 100 meters in a deep valley. The key experience was the wildness at its best, somewhat unexpected even after reading the description of the tour many times before hand. I will do this tour again. Thank you for such wonderful experience on 31st July 2023!

Landscape and music - A wonderful day in a truly beautiful landscape. Our guide, HBO, guided us safely and with great Icelandic music through the day! He gave us many additional information about Iceland and answered all of our questions very friendly and interested. Landmannalaugar is such a colourful and beautiful place! Although it was a long driving day, we had enough breaks at interesting or beautiful spots. Thanks for the list of Icelandic musicians and artists! :)

AMAZING - This tour was incredible. The waterfalls and crater provide gorgeous views, and Landmannalaugar hiking made me feel like I was in another planet. Just completely other-wordly. It is a long tour, we got picked up at 7am and returned around 9:30pm. For us it was completely worth it, we loved and enjoyed every second of it. Our guide, Roman, was very nice, friendly, knowledgeable and expertly drove over the F-roads. We always felt we were in good hands with him. Also, we had a group of only 14 people, which made for a personalized experience. I suggest bringing plenty of food, water, and a swimsuit for the hot springs at the end! The hiking is pretty easy so don’t worry about that and there are enough bathroom breaks. Also, this area is not visited by many tourists which is a big plus. Thank you Bus Travel Iceland! We had an AMAZING time on this tour!

Many great highlights to experience helps deal with very long, rough road access. - Reflecting on the overall experience start to finish give it four star. Landscapes, hikes and thermal soaks were spectacular. The guide was very knowledgeable as well. We were on the last tour of the season the weather was overcast and rains held off until later. Any sunshine of course would have been even more amazing to witness! Improvements: not informed of 10 miles or more over gravel pot holes, fording rivers in a mini bus. Nothing to fear for safety concerns, a post chiropractor adjustment is a good idea. Better information regarding bathroom stops or not. Need to improve audio and could not hear the guide on many occasions. Music choices are very personal, they became annoying after several hours. These are simple things to address to make the tour adequately accommodating for all guests. Thanks

An experience - Views were very nice. Rough road for about 2 hours of the journey. Anyone who cannot walk well and up and down steps should not do this tour. Tour guide was basically a step up from an Uber driver
