Tour of Reykjavik - Group of 5 with lots of luggage disembarking from 11 day cruise. We wanted to see as many sites as we could before heading to airport mid afternoon. Walter is very personable and professional. We were amazed at how many sites we were able to see. Great personal tour with this fantastic tour guide. Comfortable vehicle and cost is very reasonable. So glad we discovered Walter.

Tailored,organized, convenient private transport taxi service! No time wasted!!! - Walter picked us up at the airport at 6:30 in the morning at the Reykjavik airport. He was there in time, helped us with our luggage and took us to breakfast at a local bakery where we had special baked goods and sandwiches. After that he took us to the spot where Eurovision was filmed, the light house, tectonic plates and geothermal hot springs. By 10 in the morning we already visited so many must see attractions. Walter dropped us off at the Blue Lagoon so we can enjoy and relax for 4 hours. The best part is that he kept our luggage so we didn’t have to check it in the Blue Lagoon🤗. At 2 pm he picked us up and took us to our hotel Apotek in Reykjavik. After 6 days At the end of our trip his colleague picked us up on time at 2pm from our hotel back ti the airport. This service was very convenient, organized and it allowed us to pack in so much stuff into one day while trying to adjust to the time zone. Walter also introduced us to ginger snacks and sent me some through his colleague. Awesome driver! - Arrived in Reykevik 1 day prior to our Viking Cruise. We were lucky to have found Walter in the taxi line at the airport. He was extremely personable. We had a plan going in, with reservations to the Blue Lagoon via the Silica hotel. We had interesting conversations with him enroute. He’s fun and I think you’d enjoy his company on excursions. He offered to pick us up the next day to transport us to the Viking Sky. We called and he was there on time and ready to go. We had an incredible week on board and used him as our transport back to the airport. Again, on time and very friendly and timely. Though we had no use for his guide service since all of our excursions were thru Viking, I would have loved to have Walter as our day guide had the need arisen!

Great experience with Walter! - We were pleased with our private transfer (5 of us) from the airport to the Blue Lagoon and then onward to our cruise ship. Our driver Walter waited for us at the lagoon while we relaxed and got rid of the aches and pains caused by the overnight flight. Walter also transported us a week later from our ship to the airport. The large vehicle was clean and comfortable and Walter was kind, personable, and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Iceland Tours by Taxi especially if you can have Walter as your driver.

Honest, Helpful, and Goes Above and Beyond - My driver was incredibly helpful, honest and went above and beyond. I left my suitcase at the Blue Lagoon in storage and he actually went back and brought it to my hotel -- unbelievably kind. He was fun to talk to as well, and I learned a lot about Iceland from him. I highly recommend him!
