Highlights
Our english speaking driver greets you and your group in the arrival hall at Keflavik Airport or at your residing address in Reykjavik. We offer child seats and boosters for children age 0-7 if needed. You can bring odd size items like wheelchairs, golf clubs, ski’s, snowboards, musical instruments etc… All vehicles are equippet with free wi-fi for your convenience.
If traveling with a lot of luggage please allow for extra time for loading and off loading.
The travel time from/to KEF/RVK is approximately 45 minutes.
For departing passengers we suggest you arrive at the airport at least 2hrs. prior to scheduled departure time.

Excellent Customer Service - I booked our airport transfer online a few weeks before our departure. Walter called me directly within 5 minutes to confirm my booking. It was very reassuring to get this call. He was already waiting at the airport when we landed.
We also called him at the last minute to take us on a tour of the South Coast. He was very accommodating and fun to talk with. Later in the week we needed rides to a few locations within Reykjavik. When he was not available he called the central dispatch to arrange a ride for us. And he always followed up to be sure we got to our destination.
I highly recommend Iceland Tours by Taxi!

Best transportation choice we made! - I found Walter via Trip Advisor before leaving to Iceland. Communication with him was fantastic from the moment I reached out on WhatsApp. It was easy to coordinate with our flight information and hotel. Walter drove us from the airport to downtown Reykjavik, from the hotel to the lagoon, and even gave us a ride from the lagoon to pick up our van. He always responded quickly and was friendly. We were thankful that he was the first person we experienced in Iceland, it made our hectic travel day so much more enjoyable. His service was fantastic and reasonably priced. We enjoyed his company and the comfort of his vehicle. I would recommend him to anyone and will definitely use him when we come back.

Two thumbs up for Iceland Tours by Taxi! - So glad we found Walter Unnarsson, Iceland Tours by Taxi! Walter is a native Icelander with a great attitude and a great work ethic. He responded immediately to our request for a quote and confirmed all of our arrangements prior to our trip. No standing around waiting—Walter arrived prior to our scheduled pick up every time. Took care of all of our luggage and welcomed us like family.

Positive Experience - Walter picked us up outside of Reykjavik on very short notice. He shared his water and ginger with us. Very personable. would highly recommend using him for taxi/tours.

Great experience - Walter is nice and responsible guy. He arranged an amusing night trip to chasing northern light, and we enjoyed the unforgettable scene so much!
Besides, he provided pick up airport transfer on time, and is friendly all the time. I engaged him for 8-seaters taxi in November and December trip in Iceland and satisfy his services.

Walter Unnarsson made our transfer so much more fun - Our driver was Walter Unnarsson and he made our drive from the hotel to the airport so much more enjoyable. Walter was witty, very jovial and knew so much about their local spots/economy/Iceland in general. I recommend this driver to anyone wanting an enjoyable transfer ride to anywhere.
