Seeing outside Lisbon city! - We loved our visit to Sintra and Pena Palace! Francisco showed us all the best viewing points along the way. We also enjoyed hearing about the history of all the sites. Francisco proposed the best itinerary to suit our needs. A careful driver, spotless car, a wonderful day out ... thoroughly recommended!

Basso the best - Francisco was an excellent tour guide. First of all, he was a terrific driver. He knew all of the sites to see, when to get there, and knew a great deal about each of these sites. If he couldn’t answer a question, we had, he was able to quickly find the answer, I highly recommend Francisco Basso for a tour guide.

Half day visit to Sintra - Francisco was the ultimate guide. His knowledge is beyond compare, very accommodating and willing to operate on what fits best with your group. If you have an opportunity to book with him you will be pleased! Very smart to take this trip early in the morning, the area gets busy very quickly!

Sintra/Cascais Day Trip - I am so happy that I was recommended this day trip. Francisco was a fantastic tour guide. It was our first time in Lisbon and we were overwhelmed with all there was to see and do. Francisco made it very easy. He was so friendly and good with communication. He answered all our questions and provided recommendations. We were in great hands for our day trip. He was very knowledgeable, welcoming and provided us with water and set up our lunch reservation. We were so glad we booked with him rather than trying to navigate Sintra and Cascais on our own. It saved us a lot of time and money with transportation and having a local's inside tips I highly recommend booking with Lisbon DayTrip. You will not be disappointed!

Disappointed … - Viator did not share with our guide that the Peña Palace was closed by strike on April 6 so he drove us there and we even waited at the gate before we discovered it was closed. Our guide was so sorry and he drove us to several other sites that were very crowded because so many had the same experience. We would like you to consider a refund of the amounts we charged by our guide Francisco Basso of Lisbon Day trip who did an excellent job of trying some other places but we just wanted to tour the Peña. It was very aggravating for us and for him that this half day to Peña on April 6 did not work for us. Please understand why we would ask for a refund. We do not blame Francisco for this.. he is a good and capable guide . And would not consider using viator until we reach some reconciliation.
