Highlights
  • St. Paul’s Bay - Departing from St. Paul’s Bay, we cruise along Malta’s northern coast, showcasing sites like St. Paul’s Islands and the statue of St. Paul, and entering Ahrax Cave. We continue through the north channel of Comino, passing by the Elephant’s Head, entering Santa Maria Cave, and seeing Santa Maria Bay, St. Nicholas Bay, and the Comino Hotel. After about an hour, we reach Comino Island’s famous Blue Lagoon. The boat docks at the island, where we stop for 1 hour and 30 minutes. During this time, you can use all the boat’s facilities while freely walking on and off the island. The boat’s amenities include a top sunbathing deck with free deck chairs (first come, first served), a main deck with shaded and sunny seats, a lower air-conditioned deck, male and female toilets, limited locker facilities, and a cafeteria offering hot and cold beverages (food and drinks are not included in the price).
  • Bugibba - Upon departure, we cruise by our first site, St. Paul’s Island. According to the Bible, this is where St. Paul was shipwrecked in 60 A.D., and now an 8.3-meter-high statue stands here.
  • Mellieha Beach - Continuing along Malta’s rugged northern coastline, we pass by the largest sandy beach on the islands, Ghadira Bay, also known as Mellieha Beach. Further north, we enter our first cave, stopping briefly for some great photo opportunities.
  • Comino - We stop on Comino Island at the Blue Lagoon for 1 hour and 30 minutes. During your time here, you can swim, snorkel, sunbathe, or use the 10-meter slide into the crystal-clear water of the Blue Lagoon. If you prefer more beach time and less sightseeing, we offer another option: our Comino, Blue Lagoon, and Caves tour.
  • Blue Lagoon - After about an hour of cruising, we arrive at the stunning Blue Lagoon. Without any prior stops, we aim to be the first cruise boat here so you can make the most of it. Take advantage of our excellent mooring position and spend your time on the boat. Away from the crowded beach, you can jump, swim, and slide into the crystalline turquoise water. Use the upper sun deck or relax on our spacious shaded main deck. If you’re hungry, grab something from our onboard cafeteria; prices are very reasonable. While our boat may not be the most modern, it has all the amenities you need for a day at sea. Use the boat as your base as you freely walk on and off to the island of Comino. Return if you need to use the bar/cafeteria, washrooms, or other onboard facilities. We stop here for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
  • Island of Gozo - After 1 hour and 30 minutes at the Blue Lagoon, we head to Gozo’s main port, Mgarr Harbour. On Gozo Island, you will have a 3-hour stop. During this time, you can explore Gozo at your leisure using local bus or taxi services. Walking around the island isn’t much of an option unless you stay in the harbour area. Alternatively, for an extra 5 euros, you can use our organized transfer minibus/coach, which takes you to two stops: 1 hour and 30 minutes in Victoria, the capital city, and 15 minutes at Xlendi Bay.
  • The Citadel - If you take the organized shuttle bus, you will stop for 1 hour and 30 minutes in the capital city, Victoria. The shuttle bus costs 5 euros per person and is booked and paid for on the day of arrival at the boat.
  • Xlendi - Here, we will stop for 15 minutes at a lovely fjord-like bay in the northwest of the island.
  • Crystal Lagoon - As we approach Comino Island and cruise the south channel towards the Blue Lagoon, we first arrive at Crystal Lagoon, which is more popular with divers due to its deeper waters. This bay is also accessible by foot from the Blue Lagoon, a short 8-minute walk.
  • Hornblower Cruises Malta - Returning at 17:00 hours.

Great day on the water - The scenery was beautiful. The captain and crew were exceptional, and the speed boat ride to the caves didn’t disappoint.

Awesome! - It was an awesome experience! We especially loved the Blue Lagoon. In retrospect, we would not go to Gozo again - it was too hot for us to walk around so it was a bit pointless. Nonetheless, we enjoyed the ride on the boat! Kevin is a great skipper and we loved his playlist. Definitely recommend!

VERY NICE START WORTH IT - The boat when you see it doesn't fill your eye, but it's good. The staff is very good and humble!!! It's really nice to lie on the sunbeds. The stop at Blue Laggoon is beautiful and they have a swimming pool!! At the end they offered us pineapple! I put 4 stars because what I would change would be: 1. The duration we stayed at Comino which was ONLY 1.5 hours and you didn't have time neither to eat nor to see the castle + that was extra 5 euros without a reason.I should think it was in the package. 2.We did not make any cave stop for dives. AND HE HAD INFINITELY GOOD. Unfortunately.

Wonderful. - Wonderful .... Only with this adjective can I describe the day I spent with my family in this place. We booked a boat ride sailing from St. Paul and then went around comino, gozo and blue lagoon, what if not wonderful. Spectacularly colorful sea, friendly and friendly staff on board, also we took a ride in a rubber boat that allowed us to enter the caves and pillowcases closely the beautiful crystal lagoon. Prices are normal, so stra recommended

Horn blower blue lagoon, Gozo and Comino trip - We had a brilliant day. Everything was very well organised and there were clear reminders of the activities we were doing and what times we needed to be at the boat by. The 5 euro shuttle was also very good and dropped us into Gozo. All of the staff were very friendly and informative. We would definitely do this again.

Recommend tour from Valetta. - We wish more explanation would be given while we were going aroung Comino, it was only transportation, nothing more. It was not good! Caves are only to see from the boat, not to visit inside, we wish it would. Some thigs are extra pat for: spead boat tour and visit Comino. The bar had good food for sale.

Very nice! - The cruise was very nice! Everything perfect when it comes to the ship, the service and the crew. I only suggest that when it comes to choosing how to spend the cruise it would be best to choose to stay on the ship and enjoy sunbathing and swimming instead of sightseeing.
