Do this tour!! - Excellent tour, highly recommend! The tour is well-researched and you get really good historic context to the stories. Super entertaining tour guide and appreciate telling the real and truthful history without sugarcoating it. Hope to do another of their tours next time I’m in town. Love that they provide resources for additional self-study!

Creepy yet educational ghost tour! - I booked this tour for my partner and I for our first trip to New Orleans. We wanted a tour that centered Black stories and this tour exceeded our expectations. Malika is a compelling and talented tour guide. She guided us through the French Quarter and didn't just tell stories of ghosts, but instead she gave valuable historical/cultural context for the era with the perfect amount of creepy haunted intel. Book this tour, you will not regret it!

Thank you Malika! - Malika is absolutely amazing! You need to do this tour. This was the only thing we booked in advance for our trip, and so glad we did. The Blackest Ghost Tour is exceptional.

So nice, I did it twice. - The tour was excellent. The "blackest" ghost tour was a spin on words. I assumed the word referred to the tour being about the darkest horrors. It actually means that the tour includes black history information related to the ghosts in the area. The guide was very informative and open to the questions from the tourists. She also added her own personality and that made the tour feel relaxed. It was so nice that I also did the Voodoo history tour a couple days later.

Fact checking American Horror Story - My girlfriend and I went on The Blackest Ghost Tour with Malika. We go on at least one ghost tour whenever we visit a new city, and this is one of the best tours I've been on. I learned a lot about the history of New Orleans, some of the sites with the highest reportings of experiences with the dead (including a picture of some of the apparitions), voodoo, and the complex history of race and ethnicity in the city (including some clarity on creole & cajun, free people of color, plaçage, and challenges to the idea/myth I heard several times in my first day in New Orleans that slavery was more humane in New Orleans or Lousiana more broadly). It also helped clear up some things from American Horror Story. The tour has nuance and gives the scoop on ghosts without being sensational. Skeptics might appreciate some of the euhemeristic interpretations of vampires.
