Highlights
  • Palace of the Borgias - We will discuss the construction of the palace for the Borja family, who were popes in Rome and one of the most influential families in the Kingdom of Valencia.

  • Plaça de la Verge - This is the monumental area of the old town where we will see the main historical buildings associated with political and religious power since the founding of Valencia by the Romans. We can observe and appreciate the architectural evolution of Valencia through various periods.

  • Plaza de la Reina - The main baroque-style facade of the cathedral is located in Plaza de la Reina, along with the “Micalet” tower, a symbol of the city. This spot offers a beautiful view for photographing the entire cathedral complex, as well as admiring the Santa Catalina tower and rue de la Paz with its early 20th-century buildings.

  • Plaça Redona - Our next stop is the shopping area. The silk exchange, declared a UNESCO World Heritage site, and the central market, the most important food shopping spot in Valencia, make this place vibrant and colorful with its unique architecture.

  • Plaza del Ayuntamiento - The Town Hall, with its symbolic facade and the post office, serves as an allegory of modern communications, marking the impressive center of Valencia. It is surrounded by other eclectic and art deco style buildings.

  • Valencia - We will conclude at the train station, considered the most beautiful in Spain both inside and out, adorned with tiles and mosaics. This unique piece of secessionist art will be the final highlight of our tour.
