Incredible art and building with no crowds. Wonderful! - This building was incredible and MUCH less crowded than the Upper Belvedere which houses The Kiss. I’m a horse person, so seeing the stables and how they’ve been turned into a museum was pretty interesting to me. If you ask, the person working there will point out the fountain they used to water the horses. It’s not easy to find. I love strange art, and there was a lot of it there because some of the displays are much older (Middle Ages and Renaissance.) There was also a wonderful exhibition of Broncia Koller-Pinell whose work is GORGEOUS. I really adored her paintings, and I’m so glad I made it to this exhibition! The building itself is over the top (of course) and the grounds there are beautiful and hidden. I almost had the place to myself. It was worth every penny to me, and having fewer people there allowed me to spend as much time with each piece as I liked. Don’t miss this if you like to really take in the artwork at your own pace!

A must see - A must-visit when in Vienna! Both the collections and the garden were simply amazing. Excellent organization. We have bought tickets for the morning slot.

Unforgettable - The architecture and where the palace is located has zero flaws. The gallery inside has a known and also unknown pieces. We enjoyed every minute we spent there. It felt surreal to be there

Nice but not beautiful - I went to visit the viewpoint because it was considered one of the things to do absolutely in Vienna, so I would have left it a little further down the list. There are nicer attractions and things to do. If you are a Klimt lover it is highly recommended, there are Klimt's paintings, if art is not your thing, I recommend you take a tour of the wonderful garden in front of the museum.

The kiss. - Art gallery whose permanent collection covers works from the Middle Ages to the Contemporary Age, the highlights being the rooms dedicated to Klimt. The exhibition is organized over three floors. There is a cafeteria, free left-luggage office, audio guide service (€5) and bathrooms. We found some closed rooms and others dedicated to a temporary exhibition. It is advisable to get your tickets in advance to avoid queues. Their gardens are beautiful and free.

Constructive thoughts - In the Lower Palace was a very rude staff. I didn’t feel comfortable even though I tried to talk with her about a situation. She even said “you don’t understand English or what?” So I decided to leave at the moment. The place is amazing and having this kind of staff makes the experience horrible. Please train your staff in how to give a good service

Skip the lower museum but eat lunch at the upper museum cafe - Unfortunately, the upper and lower museum both have a number of rooms closed. In the lower museum the closures do not leave much to see. As such I am sorry that we bought the tickets for both. The one really great thing about the upper museum is the cafe. I had the grilled meat entree. Massive portion of beef chicken veal and sausage, with rice, French fries and salad. On a price to value basis, it was the best meal that I have had in a week in Vienna. (Also no coverage charge)

Skip it - Skip the lower Belvedere and go to the upper one. The exhibitions were not interesting and not worth the admission price. One thing that was great was the cafe and the apfel strudel, try it.

Horrific organisation. 1 hour queue in locker - Upper Belvedere museum was interesting and gardens are really beautiful. However lower belvedere à d klmt exhibition was a total fealure. There was this guy at the entrance asking half of the people to queue (the other half didn t have to, without any reason) Also people had to go to the locker for any kind of bag, wallet, ... whatever the site! As à result, my wife had to queue 30min for her bag , then was asked to queue Alain 30min to the locker bécasse she kept her small handbag (i don t gave à clue hy the guy didn t tell her that this hand bag also had to stay in locker the fiesta time)... during this time another guy shouted at me since my telephone was too dark. We finally decided not to enter and lost our ticket price.
